War On Drugs are solid if a tad overrated, but this song justifies its length. Haven't heard the new album yet but I'll get around to it as soon as I clear out this week's releases.

The War on Drugs song is far too new for me to properly gauge amongst all these other songs, but I do like it a lot.

Next up, I lose one of my top 10. What could that song be? Find out tomorrow.

Drunk Drivers deserved much better than #25. Other than that not really complaining.

To all those who ranked this bottom 10, you're DEAD to me! This is a modern folk masterpiece. Such a beautiful song.

Up until around the last minute, this was close to my top 10. I listened to it again...and it just didn't hold up all that well.

At least my #30 is gone. I don't even dislike it, but the competition in this was too strong.
"Girl in Amber" is a song that is hard to "love", because it's just so painful of a song...but it's captivating.

Ayy, and my #29! Had this been "Hot Thoughts", it would have been much higher on my list. Not sure where, exactly...but higher.

...well s**t, I mean I'm sure everyone knew it was my #1 but was hoping it could sneak into the Top 10 and surprise me.
Absolutely beautiful track, definitely my favorite Portugal. The Man song despite heavy competition and one of my favorite songs of all time.
With my #1 and #3 out we're left with my #2 to carry the banner. I think it can make the Top 10 but with this all-star list who knows?

Girl In Amber deserved much better, it's such a sad and beautiful song. So if I had participated Girl In Amber (my #1 probably) would have beaten Howlin' For You (my #30 probably), damn it.

"All the Rage Back Home" was another song that I almost had in my top 10. Still a damn fine Interpol song.
A #28 ranking for "Wake Up"...I'm keen to hear the explanation for that.

Silly me, I thought "Inhaler" actually had a chance to make a top 10, for once. :kii:
Still not over "Wake Up" going out before the top 10. I've alluded to it, but it's one of my ten favorite songs ever. It gives me chills every time I listen to it.
It's a testament to how much I love "Lazarus" that it would have been top 5 on my list without blinking, if that was the song chosen. "Blackstar" is certainly top 10 worthy, though.

I've really come around to "Chicago" in recent years. Helped me to gain a newfound appreciation of Sufjan. One song undeservedly made the top ten. That's all I'll say.
