This is me with the last reveals... (Fancy and Promises) What's next, my #1????{SPOILER ABOUT YOUR #1}Trust me...you won't have to worry about your #1 for a little while. :kii: 30-21 is kind of an up-and-down set, with some songs bound to create controversy with their reveals, while others were much more consistent in their performance. #27 was one of the more consistent songs in the entire rankdown. It only had three top tens and six bottom tens, and it was seemingly in the 21-30 range for most of the rankdown. It also marks the second of the "Chapters" to get completely wiped out, after the country "Chapter".

I really am not liking these results so far Don't think that you're going to be a big fan of this next reveal, either...but hey, it is the first song to cross the 400 point threshold!

#26...hoo boy. This is, to me, the biggest surprise of the entire ranking. Briefly, this song was in the top ten. Thanks to a surprising deluge of lower rankings, though, this tanked and wound up more toward the bottom of the ranking than the top. This is the song with the fourth highest standard deviation, which means that it has the highest SD of any of the non-country songs. We lose eight bottom tens here, including one #40, and we also lose six top tens, including not one, but two #1s. And if you guys thought you were upset before...

fwiw I still liked the song a bit (if this was theoretically in the 2011 alt rankdown it probably would have ended up in my #50s or #60s) but it just wasn't my thing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I was going to say that #25 has to be less controversial than the last reveal, but it's not all that much less controversial when you consider that it still has one of the top ten highest standard deviations. Some were predicting doom and gloom for this song, but it wound up exceeding those expectations, even if it was hovering in and around the bottom ten for a while. We lose five top tens here, including a #2, while we also lose eight top tens, though not quite a #40.

"Fancy" was the best country song in the list, but that's not saying much. I really tried to like "Exit Music" but I just couldn't, sorry. Boo @ losing another top 10.

wait what? wow, definitely wasn't expecting my #1 out before Top 15 at the very earliest. Like I said, I was shocked when it kept dropping. I thought that it would be top 20, minimum. At #24 is one of the least controversial songs of the entire rate, the song with the sixth lowest standard deviation. This was also the second-to-last song to receive a top 10 ranking. There are only two top tens for the next song, but there are also only three bottom tens. This means that 17 of the 22 posters ranked this in between 11-30.

#23 hurts a little, because this is the first of my "vaunted" top 5 to fall. This was in the top ten very early in the ranking process, but it was brought down into the middle for pretty much the rest of its run. Other than myself, five other people will lose top tens here, including a #2, while six others will lose bottom tens, including three people with the same lowest ranking.

#22 was another consistent song, albeit less consistent than some of the others in this set. All but six of the posters who took part in this rankdown put this song in the 11-30 range. In fact, three posters a piece put this song in their top and bottom tens (including a #2). Given who the artist involved is, I also thought this might have a done a little better. Not a lot, but a little...

I thought that our last reveal for now, #21, was going to be a shoo-in for top 5 lowest standard deviation, but a couple of later bottom ten rankings prevented that from happening. But this song was ultra-consistent, hanging around the fringes of the top 20 seemingly for the entire rankdown. This was also the last song to get a top ten ranking (and just that one top ten ranking), while four bottom tens go out with this reveal. What's most interesting is the amount of rankings this song had in one area: THIRTEEN of the 22 rankings put this song in the 11-20 range.

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME QUESTIONNAIRE? No? Well, we're doing it anyway. :kii:

I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS
What song(s) in the top 20 is/are a surprise to you?
What song(s) disappointed you by not making the top 20?
What do you think the top 5 will be now?
Any bets on which songs will miss the top 10?
