I wonder if she's performing "To Learn Her" because it references Thanksgiving... Wouldn't exactly be my pick for her song to sing (personally I'd love another "Tin Man" performance because it would a great sales boost for the song), but she can't really go wrong with TWOTW because it's a fantastic album through-and-through. I'm a little surprised she's doing something that wasn't one of the songs being tested for the fourth single though. I would've figured that she might make more sense at this point if she didn't want to reprise "Tin Man." Well, after doing it at the ACMs, I like to believe she's now saving "Tin Man" for the Grammys which would be the ultimate platform for her... otherwise it will be like "Girl Crush" which lost a lot of it's impact live at the Grammys after being performed at every. single. award. show. possible. prior to it

It won't be able to help the song while it is charting since that's three months away still, but that would be a pretty huge boost for it after the fact if she did perform it at the Grammys. I'm sure that would go over really well, and introduce the song to a whole new audience, too, so I hope that this is what happens now actually.

Well, RIP "Tin Man". It won't have a chance to make the top 20 now. Don't think even a win for "Single" and/or "Song" will generate enough interest to get it to pick up If it makes you feel any better (probably won't), there wasn't much of a chance that had regardless as "Tin Man" has officially stalled on the charts.

Well, considering she has performed at the Grammys for the past 3 eras she's been nominated for Best Country Album (singing THTBM, Over You and LRW), there's a very good chance she'll get asked to perform this year again considering she's a front-runner for that award next year. "Tin Man" seems like a perfect choice for that considering she'll probably be nominated for it as well in other categories like Country Song and Country Solo Performance.

Cute interview. I adore this song and I’m super excited she will perform it. Kudos to her for performing with a steel guitar too!

Miranda gave an interview to Extra backstage at the CMAs and apparently she will be performing "To Learn Her" "Country star Miranda Lambert is getting ready for her big CMA Awards performance in Nashville. One day before the show, “Extra’s” special correspondent Alecia Davis spoke with Lambert as she belted out “To Learn Her” at rehearsals."Video Interview (EXTRATV)I personally loved it as it is one of the most traditional sounding songs on the record and she sounds great singing it! YES!!!! This was also one of my most favorite tracks! Fantastic.

I’m going to make a prediction no one will like to hear. I don’t think Miranda will win any awards tomorrow night. Even I hate saying it. I’ll post my full predictions tomorrow.

Video: "It Ain't My Fault," Brothers Osborne Musical Event: "Funny How Time Slips Away," Glen Campbell & Willie Nelson Yay! We are already off to a good start. Hopefully the award show tonight is good. There's not a lot of performers that I am very excited to but I'm still intrigued nonetheless.

I never get why they announce Video and Musical Event sooooo early... it's so anticlimactic
I'm glad Bros Osborne won... I had a bad feeling "Craving You" was gonna win for being the big production and bigger hit (even though I love for Maren to win something)

I think music video was a race between Brothers Osborne and Miranda Lambert, as both had superb videos this year and since Miranda Lambert is Miranda Lambert I assume many thought she would win.

I was rooting for Miranda because I'm a fan and the video was very deserving in my opinion. Having said that, I always had in the back of my mind that, being such an old video, it would lose this category to something fresher in most people's mind.

Video: "It Ain't My Fault," Brothers Osborne Musical Event: "Funny How Time Slips Away," Glen Campbell & Willie Nelson I secretly hoped Vice would win. It's great video with all the hidden meanings. I like the melancholic vibe it gives off.

Then would it be September to August every year after or just November to August every year, because you're leaving two months, when some major releases come out, out of contention each year.

I'm thinking...
Entertainer - Garth Brooks Eric Church deserves it, but Garth will win for a second straight year, both of which will be unjust and undeserved in comparison to his competition in the category.
Female - Miranda Lambert Could genuinely see Maren Morris snatching this away, but I think Miranda will return to the winner's circle this year.
Male - Thomas Rhett I think the CMAs will follow in line with the ACMs and reward commercial hype over critical acclaim (Chris Stapleton).
Duo - Brothers Osborne No contest.
Group - Little Big Town No contest. [2]
New Artist - Jon Pardi In a perfect world, Lauren Alaina would take this. Too bad this world is far from perfect.
Album - The Weight of These Wings This will be the most exciting result of the evening. Chris Stapleton may also win it. Unlike others here, I'm really not sold on the idea of Jason Isbell taking this.
Single - "Better Man" Either this or "Tin Man."
Song - "Tin Man" Either this or "Better Man." I hope it's "Tin Man," though.

I'm late to the party but I'll try my hand at predictions.
Entertainer - Eric Church This is kind of wishful thinking. Please don't give it to Garth again.
Female - Maren Morris I'm thinking she might actually pull this off this year.
Male - Keith Urban I would be super happy for Eric to win this, but don't see him getting Entertainer and Male both. Keith is always deserving and I think they need to give him something for all his nominations this year.
Duo - Brothers Osborne Could be FGL but I'll root for Brothers O.
Group - Little Big Town Not much to say. Better Man was a smash.
New Artist - Jon Pardi He's very deserving. I adore Brett Young too so I will be happy if he were to win also.
Album - The Weight of These Wings I don't see how she doesn't take this one.
Single - "Better Man" I hate Body Like a Back Road with a passion, so this is wishful thinking too. I could also see Blue Ain't Your Color maybe pulling off an upset and would be perfectly happy with that too.
Song - "Tin Man" Could be Better Man also, not sure how this will play out.

I really hope that Lauren can win in her category. She's the only female with two number ones this year. That is an accomplishment in itself.

Rumor has it Taylor Swift might show up tonight. LBT was asked the question in an interview and they refrained from answering anything.

If the awards were based on statistics, you would know who won ahead of time. No need for nominations. Just look to see who was #1 and who was #1 the longest.
