This is officially my AOTY, after playing the other nominees again (bar Andre 3000 and Jacob Collier), but fully, mentally prepared for Jacob to take it. Cowboy Carter is very strong, but it's a bit scattered. I think Sabrina's is too light and Chappell's is solid but I don't think, from an artistry standpoint, her album deserves AOTY. Give her BNA and let her work more on making a defining artistic statement. I feel like voters will be too torn between Beyonce and Billie and give it to neither as a result.

You've certainly come a long way regarding Billie! I hope you're right and the Grammys award the true best album of the year and doesn't play into its usual politics or give it to Beyonce as a lifetime achievement award like they did with Beck (and for his worst album, at that.)

Honestly though, I need to listen to Jacob's album because maybe it will surprise me and I will put it above Billie's.

I kinda want THE for ROTY since Bey has never won it, and I don’t think people appreciate just how brilliant that song is from a production standpoint enough. I’ve probably never heard a song toe the line between country and pop production so effortlessly.

As for SOTY, I would probably say this is most deserving because the lyrics are just gorgeous and timeless. But then again, I would be extremely happy with DWAS winning too, so idk.

Although this is all just based on what we have to work with here. II Hands II Heaven is the REAL SOTY and ROTY tbh.

I'd love if her team could somehow make a push for this album to finally get the #1 peak. It's one of the biggest albums of the year and got screwed over from that #1 spot.

HIT ME HARD AND SOFT longevity is crazy insane, it's the biggest daily streams ever for a female album, don't know about male, maybe "Un Verano Sin Ti" by Bad Bunny did a higher daily. 
To put into perspective, SOUR, Midnights, SOS were all doing less than 10m streams at this point.

I also hope this takes AOTY, and I wouldn't be bothered if she takes several other awards as well. It's a great album - easily my favorite of the nominees.

As a fan I appreciate the amount of promo she's done for the songs and album as well. We've got performances, videos, a tour, etc. It's been a really great year for her.
