Sober was repressed from radio. It was the second single and didn't chart at all. (for Kelly)

Does anyone know the record for the biggest spins decline on Top 40 (I believe it was Die Young but I'm not sure)? Also the biggest positions drop from #1?
From what's happening right now, at this rate, qween TSwift is about to break more records. :kii:

Taylor has now the record for the biggest drop in Mediabase history now with that -898 spins update today. There are still some big daddy stations like KHKS Kiss FM in Dallas that still have it in power rotation. I wonder for how long.

Before it got the big increase last week, this was losing spins.Things are just more magnified now than it should be because it's adjusting to where it was 2 weeks ago.

mediabase I'm sure it's not the biggest drop. Did Ooh La La / You Da One etc not have bigger 8th day effects than 900? Yeah, I'm recalling some 8th days being over -1000 (or would it be under in this case since it's a negative?). So this doesn't have the record for biggest single day loss overall, but it may have the largest single day drop ever for a non-8th day update and it's on track to battle Die Young for biggest single week drop. Interestingly, both would have the title falling from their final week at #1. Also, re: Kelly Clarkson song I was referring to Sober, but really the whole My December era could count for what I was thinking of. I honestly don't remember which Ciara song her label held off of radio, I want to say something from the album where she's turning into a bird on the cover, so maybe Speechless? And lastly, I can't believe someone would criticize actual discussion happening just because it's similar comments each time. There's a lot to discuss here with its incredible decline and strange updates. What else would we be talking about, how Taylor Swift is the reason the hurricane season was so strong? After all of the insane craziness this thread has been through, actual discussion should be met with open arms, not criticism. Discussion doesn't have to be positive or about positive things for it to still be a damn discussion.

And I will repeat, this is only part of what's happening. Look at it this way: 2 weeks ago: -50/-100/-25/+15/-50 1 week ago: +200/+300/+250/+275 This week: -550/-700/-800/-900 Let's remove that second week. Let's say that never happened and it continued its downward trend. It likely would have fallen a bit harder, losing about 200-250 spins at its peak losses, averaging around a 175 daily loss that week, as is typical when a song begins its decent from the upper regions of the chart. Then it becomes: 2 weeks ago: -50/-100/-25/+15/-50 1 week ago: -75/-200/-150/-250 A third week of decent would be around the same, with its peak loss being a little lower, around 200. This week: -150/-200/-135/-175 If you add that together, it should only be losing 400-600 spins daily this week to compensate for the big gains last week. It lost nearly 900 spins today. Stations literally went from having it in their top 5 to not playing at all. It's decent is unprecedented even accounting for last week's surge.

If I recall properly, Die Young had the biggest negative bullet on Top 40 in history but it looks like this will easily break that.

I'm not including 8th days or second weeks after radio deals.
Die Young fell so much because of the Newtown Elementary School shooting where so many kids lost their lives. It was liked by listeners, unlike Taylor's song.

So she jumps from number 4 to number 1 and then falls to number 6(or 7), this has to be the biggest irregularity in radio charts ever.

Stations literally went from having it in their top 5 to not playing at all. It's decent is unprecedented even accounting for last week's surge. Bingo. Another way of looking at this is on Codex's awesome daily spins graph. If this was just the loss of the payola spins, she would have had one or maybe two really bad drops on the daily spins curve, but then daily spins would stabilize on a day-to-day basis, since 2,3,4 days post-payola etc wouldn't make that much of a difference. This would have looked on the graph like a sharp drop over 1-2 days followed by a generally horizontal or maybe slightly downward slanted line. What the curve shows instead though, is not only stations playing the song a ton less than they did exactly one week ago, but indeed less than they did the previous day. As in, spins are STILL being rapidly lost. For that reason, I wonder just how low this could go. If it's something like radio recoiling from an unpopular song being foisted upon the summit, AND now Taylor has a new song released, there's really no lower limit for where this will finally crater.

Wait, wouldn't the drops be more like -500s this week to get to this spin level if they didn't use payola?

This has the highest negative again on the callout list.
Even if they hadn't pushed this to the top, it would have gotten huge drops last week and this. Not as huge, but still the biggest losses.

Jesus, how big was the bribe that got this to the top? If someone had their hand being held to a hot stove, they still wouldn’t yank it away as fast as radio is dropping this.

Bets on whether this will still be Top 10 on the Hot 100 on Monday?
Simm had it predicted at #7 on Tuesday, but that was before the collapse...

Can I ask a question? What was the point of making this #1 on the airplay chart? It was already a Billboard Hot 100 #1, and I don't think the public realizes the difference. It was already a #1. If from what I've been reading here, call out scores have never really been that good, then why would they bother? Were they hoping that this would continue through Halloween bc of the visuals in the video? It's a bit haunting so I can go with that. I just logged on to Pulse and am surprised Gorgeous was not high in this forum. What's going on? Is it not a single? We're 3 weeks out and Ready for it is doing quite well. Im just confused. I might not be with Gorgeous lyrically for Taylor, but I liked it on first listen. Not that it's amazing, but I like it better than anything from this album thus far, I just don't like the juxtaposition to LWYMMD.
