It's 1am EST and the song is at -680 to -700 right now. I think it's late enough to say that this is gonna be tomorrow's update. So it's safe to say a -1000 update is no longer possible? D:

those massive drops are really compensating for two weeks or so worth of normal drops, so of course it'll stabilize soon enough.
as for the era, rather than rushing out a second single they're better off waiting for the album release and see which song get the best reception and push that one real hard. after all, she is still in a good position. all of the promo singles went straight to number one in itunes and performed really well in spotify. radio willingly send RFI to top 20 without any official push which signals that radio would love to send her single straight to number one if their listener like it.
tldr, as long as there's at least one song in the album that resonates well, she'll be fine.

Yeah, this is probably around where it would be without the payola week.

I haven't been keeping up with this song's run...So I'm curious. I would hate it if someone was laughing at one of my favorite artist's chart decline.

I think almost everyone has expressed similar emotions to seeing the downfall of this song even if they stan for T Swift, like myself

Really? I missed that! I have been digging the song. I hear it on the radio all the time and I jam out every time it comes on; so I just didn't know why someone would cheer for a song to fail. But I guess even her stans are???? :)
Oh well. I really dig the song!

I'm coming into this chart watch late....what is up with the huge free fall anyways? I assumed people loved this song, at least everyone I know jams to it.

I'm another one that's not rooting for this song's fall. Watching this song's chart run is fun, though.

At least -550 tomorrow for Tay Tay.
She will also break the record for the biggest negative bullet of all time!
Good because it was unfair to Kesha to hold that record due to a mass shooting.

Yeah from what I see the label gave this song a major push to get it to #1 even though it was dead last on callout scores. Now they are walking away from it. Kesha never deserved that tumble she had a huge hit that got effected by a traumatic event that shocked a nation.

It could have been any artist that was unlucky enough to have written and released a song on a subject that was extremely sensitive do to some senseless act. Yes, her song suffered and had the biggest negative bullet ever until tomorrow apparently, but let's not lose focus on the actual victims during that time instead of painting Kesha as such. This music industry thing tends to get blurred into reality with some posters at times when things happening in reality are much more important.

And the Kesha song was still a big hit, specially considering how the rest of that album turned out...
It's a curious record because you can't say either song earned it "on their own". Die Young was obviously affected by the mass shooting, and this song wouldn't have earned the "record" without the label's payola, when it was clearly going to peak at #4 and die at a more normal rate. Does anyone know which song would rank third?

So, now we're gonna use payola as an excuse that the song doesn't deserve the record?

So, now we're gonna use payola as an excuse that the song doesn't deserve the record? Chill, I'm not saying that. The callouts are solid evidence that it was going to decrease anyways, and "deserves" arguments are beyond the point. It's crashing down harder than any other song, ever. With that said, it quickly lost the +2000 spins it suddenly gained during payola week, which clearly helped it get the "record". I'm curious about which song would rank third because it probably got that bullet under more "normal" circumstances. I seem to recall Rihanna's "What's My Name?" crashing down pretty hard after it peaked at #4, but that was ages ago and I don't have the exact numbers (and it was a smaller panel).

But Pulse told me it would get -600 today? Where? At least -550 tomorrow for Tay Tay. If my calculations are correct, it looks like her daily spins are stabilising. She'll probably get two more - 450'sThe only two predictions in this thread were both conservative estimates. It was a joke.

The trend numbers are going to start to be smaller after today. Unless this actually continues to freefall.

The trend numbers are going to start to be smaller after today. Unless this actually continues to freefall. Even if the spin losses shrink to like -300's it's still technically in freefall (since of course a week of -300's is still a -2100 for the week).

I completely agree that it was unfair for Kesha to hold the record so likewise, Iβm glad Taylor is now going to hold that record instead. However, what I would like to know what the negative bullet was for Keshaβs Die Young and how much Taylor has exceeded it. Even if youβve expressed dismay of Kesha holding the record due to a very unfortunate situation, if you have the information, could you please share it for chart-obsessed people like me? Thanks.

Does anyone know which song would rank third? I think Ariana's Break Free got a negative 4k too.
