The Key Of Awesome usually does great parodies but this one was weak af. The jokes were stale and nothing really landed.

Yeah, I agree, this was one of the weaker parodies. Still HUMBLE was probably their best parody of the year thus far.

I haven't liked a Bart parody in over a year though. Maybe he can finally bring his A game with a Taylor Swift parody for once. My guess is that the running joke that she's the devil will be in the video, I think.

She should have released these earlier in the week to maximize the streaming. Probably won't be enough to keep #1 at this point. It's back to #2 on iTunes, at least.
I've also gotten back into this. I stopped listening as much for a week or two, but it's on repeat again.

I only guess, but the trend seems that way So Swift is 2800 ahead of Portugal and they are getting about 150 spins more very day which mean Portugal will catch her in 3 weeks, Taylor is about 4000 points away from number 1 and the increase is the same, but Niall will start to fall soon, but after that will come Liam, but thatΒ΄s for sure Swift wont get to number one in 3 weeks, so it might get close, but I think Swifts song is going to slow down even more, so I still think that Portugal The Man has the biggest hype right now, come on the song is Alternative no 1 and entered even Rhythmic top 50, it is this fallΒ΄s monster hit. |

You can't say that she is doing bad. "Look What You Made Me Do" debuted with higher numbers than anyone could ever imagine. It's just that she picked an interesting & polarizing song to kick off her new era AND that she has another hit slaying pop radio. "Shake It Off" was fun, cheerful, closer to Taylor's sound & definitely more radio friendly.

I don't think the number was that unimaginable. Yes, but the streaming & radio numbers were still huge. Ah the good ole semantical game. Gotta love it. I think what was essentially being implied was that its digital debut was very impressive, and it was.
Unimaginable might be a strong word, but I can certainly say I didn't see it breaking the Spotify and Youtube streaming records as effortlessly as it did (if at all). =)

By now this song is one of my favourites of the year. BUT, it's polarising and I'm sure she would be doing similarly well with any other song from the album. Most of the initial success for this was from the huge hype. The fact that it's slowing down so quickly means that the public isn't connecting with it much. The dislike ratio isn't good. I can't calculate the exact ratio, because the new youtube format just rounds it to 5M... It's #87 among videos with 100M+ views with highest dislike percentages.
