I think Starships lost the record to Shake It Off which got 24 weeks in the top 10. They were in different chart years however

The lambs are freaking out on fb. lol Why...because it has to share the title with another song? Yeah. I also agree that 16 weeks will certainly be beaten within the next few years. In fact, if Taylor's song continues to be huge I expect it to at least get 12 weeks and will likely replace herself with the second single. |

We all know that Taylor cares. You're thick in the head to think otherwise. This is the woman who made a (terrible) song about a reviewer rightfully giving her a bad review for a performance that she spent the majority of off key ("Mean"). Taylor very much cares. I don't think she cares that much but what if she does? Who cares... Look at the buzz she's generating, she's not naive. If she thinks the best way to clean her reputation is to make songs about it, I'm all down for it. Wasn't this the Taylor that people constantly hated for putting songs about her exes? Oh well she's doing something different and she's being (very) successful and you're crazy if you think this wasn't planned with detail. |

I don't know how I feel about taylor doing so well. She seemed very content dragging Kanye West's name through the mud for an illegitimate reason. She seems like a nice person but the kanye thing just makes me feel like her nice persona may be fake.

I don't know how I feel about taylor doing so well. She seemed very content dragging Kanye West's name through the mud for an illegitimate reason. She seems like a nice person but the kanye thing just makes me feel like her nice persona may be fake. I'm not a hardcore fan even though I really like Taylor. I don't think I need to mention all the charity, hospital singing for kids etc she does. I believe she's a good person but I don't know her personally obviously. Hell, she even donated 300k (if I remember correctly) to Kesha. It was proven that Kim K and Kanye were lying about the tape and all the feud but her name was already damaged. I think she has every right to come at everyone she wants and play the good girl gone bad this time around. |

I agree - Taylor should just focus on her music and not worry so much about what others say. That is one of the reasons why the Country format is my favorite. The songs are about real life for the most part and there aren't these petty feuds that linger on for months/years. Plus, I think Kanye continues to try and stir the pot to try and remain relevant; Taylor acknowledging it only helps his cause. Kim and Kanye those people dragged her through the mud Uhh... I think you have it a little backwards there. Or did you never see the "exposed" video? |
