Oh my God, if this hint is for "When The Sun Goes Down" AND "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems", I will literally die of happiness!!!!
Regarding "Fall In Love", I actually love the song...but Kenny's voice is just SO AWFUL on it. As with "When I Close My Eyes", the song would have been much better if he had recorded it a few years later once he stopped using that exaggerated twang.

I hope that those puppies will still be there...when the sun goes down... It's "Dancin', Shaggin' on the Boulevard" all over again, isn't it? Lol so true! Wait a minute, I thought you missed the 1997 rankdown! How do you know about this???!?!!!?!?!?!?!

Simple; I read through it when I had the time on my hands several weeks ago. I'm also pacifying my curiosity by compiling a list for myself to see how things would've turned out had I been around. P.S. Y'all did a bunch of songs dirty back then... Chillax, I'm not submitting it out there for the world to see. Geez louise!

I honestly didn't see that coming...I had no idea "Fall In Love" was such a polarizing song here on Pulse and thought it was a lock for the top 20. And to think "When the Sun Goes Down" is still in over this...these rankdowns continue to surprise me.

I get the hate - but man is this a jam. Really takes me back to when I fell in love with country music! This whole album is one of my all-time favorites.

"When The Sun Goes down" is a jam.
That chorus is a perfect catchy jam.

Not a big fan of this one. Wish "When the Sun Goes Down" would have beat it at least!

I'm not at all a fan of Kenny's island/beach sound so I'm glad to see "No Shoes" and "When The Sun Goes Down" gone.

Oh! I forgot to tell y'all that there was a tie between the next two songs in points, broken by highest rank (first of three). The song that won the tie, though, will more than likely land me in scorching water with the mods...

33. Me and Youfrom Me and YouTotal Points: 648 Average Rank: 30.85714 Standard Deviation: 14.21368 Billboard Hot Country Songs Peak: 2 Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Peak: 12 Ranks by order of submission:Ranks in ascending order:BackwoodsBarbie - 6 tim - 11 CoJoFan - 15 austin - 17 Kentucky25 - 18 BlueShades874 - 19 Kanenrá:ke - 21 zaclord 🌈 - 24 Sambalada - 25 rgreen0625 - 27 castleoblivion26 - 29 carriekins - 30 bboat11 - 35 jhomes87 - 41 gardyfan - 42 countrymusicjunkie - 43 @adam1995 - 46 someguy - 46 fearlessarrow - 49 sabre14 - 50 Cody Wants Out... - 54 Host's Commentary: Our third consecutive title track leaves us, which also makes it Kenny's second studio album with all of it's singles eliminated from the game (a third one will join it by the time we reach the top 30). In the process, this takes down another top ten from BackwoodsBarbie and five other top twenty placements. Evidently, I didn't spend enough time with his earlier stuff as this didn't click with me in time...
Now, as I almost failed to mention last night, this song is tied in total points with another song. What broke that tie what the amount of top 10 rankings; this one has only one top ten, which was a near top-five. The next song has a total of four top ten ranks with two of them in the top five. As I've already mentioned, I will more than likely get some kind of a lashing from our mods; however, this next song has heavier dissenters than me so I can't be alone in this kind of movement...

When I was making my list for this rankdown I thought that his music is like miror picture of Oxygen–hemoglobin dissociation curve with his best songs being released in the first years of his career. Unfortunately now I see that I'm the only one who likes his 90s ballads a lot. I stoped counting how many top 10 songs I have already lost but I hope my #1 won't be eliminated anytime soon.

I would've appreciated the graph of y=ln(-x) in the range -4≤x≤-0.05 (not 0 because that's a STEEP fall) better than the mirror of oxygen hemoglobin disassociation curve tbh. #mathoverscience

The fact that you thought about rightly marking the x and y axis is just impressive lol I' m not that impressive. I only started to to think about marking the axis after your previous comment There is also way to many exceptions in my rankings so the actual curve would look nothing like a mathematical function

I'm a number cruncher myself (Doh! Why'd I put it like that?) and thought about using fancier graphs for these results, but it'd probably make things a whole lot more complicated than necessary. I did graduate work in computational stats and I've never heard of a Q-function. Man, I'm looking forward to my first year-end rankdown...

Our mods take a hit as they each lose a top 5, or near top 5 in jhomes87 's case, placing and countrymusicjunkie also loses a top 10. Three more top twenties go with it. Luckile, most of us find it kinda so-so by the way these ranks are being read with only four bottom tens and two more bottom twenties. Personally, I don't think this is a bad song at all; I just think it's kinda boring and repetitive and was virtually stunned that it was chosen as a single over the title track from that album (and maybe a few others). The last song to miss our top 30 will also see his third studio album get eliminated, plus two top fives and two top tens...

I have always found El Cerrito Place to be highly overrated. Everyone always talked about it back in 2012 like it was the best song of Kenny's career, and I have always thought it is just kinda boring... The melody in the verses is super promising at first, I will give it that. But then the song as a whole never lives up to the expectation that I have for it.

Living in Texas I often hear Charlie Robison's version of "El Cerrito Place" on the radio and I always find myself comparing his version to Kenny's...and I much prefer Charlie's. Charlie's came out long before Kenny's did in 2004.

El Cerrito Place is a beautifully written song. This is the first one I've been truly surprised about. Can't believe it didn't at least make the top 20, let alone top 10..
