"The Dance" is also a hint for...I'm gonna go with "A Lot of Things Different."

I"m thinking "Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox (If I Die)" is a hint for "Everybody Want's To Go To Heaven." Please yes. Worst Kenny song, ever. Looks like we have the same #60

tim, you're 50-50 on a couple of my hints. I have a different hint planned for one of the songs you just mentioned.
Next up, a pair of #60's get left in the dust...

I really will never get the hate for "Everybody Wants to Go To Heaven", it is so catchy and such an earworm. Besides now it's an official fact that it's not Kenny Chesney's worst song quality wise. All y'all that hate "Everybody Wants to Go To Heaven" all of you are just haters.

"Everybody Want To Goes To Heaven" is a flaming pile of waste. It's lyrics are trash and it's beach-themed instrumentation/production doesn't belong on a song that is giving religious tongue-and-cheek tones. I'm a fairly religious person myself, compared to most people...but no, not everyone wants to wait as long as possible before going to heaven and at the same time...no, not everyone believes in heaven either. It's the worst of both worlds. I don't care if it's meant to be a light-hearted song.
I love Kenny and most of his singles, but that song is awful.

I don't dislike that song actually, but the fact that George Strait recorded the song as a bonus track to the Troubadour album really irks me... He turns in an excellent vocal and I think all around makes the song more enjoyable than Kenny's version. But then at the end of the song he starts talking in a Jamaican accent ("Oh, man! Yeah, man, I know what you talkin’, man! Everybody wanna get to Heaven! Not just me, everybody man! The pearly gate man! Oh yeah! Oh yeah!") and it makes me want to throw up... I can't decide if it's racist or not, so I am never sure whether to be pissed off for that reason... But it also just sounds dumb as hell because the rest of the song has nothing to do with being fucking Jamaican!

Next up, a pair of #60's get left in the dust... 55. Feel Like a Rock Star (with Tim McGraw)from Welcome to the FishbowlTotal Points: 969 Average Rank: 46.14286 Standard Deviation: 10.69245 ( 5th Lowest!) Billboard Hot Country Songs peak (airplay only): 11 Billboard Hot 100: 40 Ranks in order of submission:Ranks in ascending order:Sambalada - 24 gardyfan - 29 @adam1995 - 32 jhomes87 - 34 fearlessarrow - 35 someguy - 38 countrymusicjunkie - 41 austin - 44 castleoblivion26 - 44 BlueShades874 - 47 CoJoFan - 50 rgreen0625 - 50 Kentucky25 - 51 tim - 52 bboat11 - 54 sabre14 - 55 BackwoodsBarbie - 55 carriekins - 56 zaclord 🌈 - 58 Cody Wants Out... - 60 Kanenrá:ke - 60 Host's Commentary: Alright, so the opening words of the second verse in this song asks how you 'kick the dirt', evidently causing dust; therefore, "Kick the Dust Up". The idea of a Kenny and Tim duet sounded epic, then this atrocity saw the light of day and rightly fizzled out a tad bit higher than it should've imbho (in my brutally honest opinion). I sometimes wish they could try it again with a much, much better written song, but that's just wishful thinking on my behalf.
Up next, who said lightning can't strike twice? Sadly, you can't please everybody since one man's trash is another man's treasure...

"Feel Like a Rock Star" is definitely one of my guilty pleasures ("Pirate Flag" as well). The song itself is kind of a mess, but I still like it...

tim got this right. on. the. nose. 54. Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven (featuring the Wailers)from Lucky Old SunTotal Points: 937 Average Rank: 44.61905 Standard Deviation: 16.00461 Billboard Hot Country Songs Peak (airplay only): 1 Billboard Hot 100 Peak: 41 Ranks by order of submission:Ranks in ascending order:Sambalada - 3 rgreen0625 - 21 @adam1995 - 22 someguy - 26 austin - 31 BackwoodsBarbie - 38 tim - 42 bboat11 - 46 fearlessarrow - 46 Kanenrá:ke - 46 Cody Wants Out... - 47 CoJoFan - 48 Kentucky25 - 48 gardyfan - 55 BlueShades874 - 59 carriekins - 59 castleoblivion26 - 60 countrymusicjunkie - 60 jhomes87 - 60 sabre14 - 60 zaclord 🌈 - 60 Host's Commentary: The chorus for one of Joe Diffie's most well-known hits (that will appear in one of my year-end rankdowns in the more-or-less distant future) goes like this: "prop me up beside the jukebox if I die/Lord, I wanna go to Heaven, but I don't wanna go tonight". The second line is the main idea in this song that's been getting pummeled to the ground for the last several posts. Also, after yet another breather, Sambalada loses his #3 with this 'steaming pile of garbage'. Hey, I liked it at first, but it does pale in comparison to the rest of his discography. After hearing about how George Strait did his take on it, I'm actually more thankful for Kenny's cut. Sue me if you wanna!

sabre14 I get what you're saying even if I disagree with everything you just said lol. My problem was that it felt like you were implying that it was a fact that song was awful and that no one should like it. I know I'm reading something that isn't really there. I like the song and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Love watching this rankdown and I'm excited to see which song is next.

Hey Sambalada, you're playing with the big boys now. If you can't take the heat, go find some other kitchen to play in.

At this point I'm just hoping Sambalada's #1 is something good, not stuff like "Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven" lol

"Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven" stayed way too long, I hate that song. I would say Kenny Chesney would be a favorite for me at least early in his career he was but around the time he came out with this song I was so over the island theme in every single song he did that I was just done with his music as a whole but this song was especially bad even disregarding that being the reason I disliked it.
I hope I never need to hear that song again, and I'm even more disappointed to hear that George Strait recorded his own take on it because he is much better than that mess they tried to pass as a song

This rankdown is off to a good start. I don't like Noise, Pirate Flag, I'm Alive , Shiftwork and Feel Like a Rock Star at all and I'm happy that they were eliminated so soon.
I like the vibe Back in My Arms Again gives off and melody is also good.

#60 - Noise - Not what I expected to see last, but seeing this in the bottom 10 doesn't surprise me. #59 - Pirate Flag - I'm actually shocked that this one is so low. It's not one of Kenny's best, but I wouldn't have even thought bottom 10 (even though I ranked it not too far from my bottom 10). #58 - I'm Alive - I don't think this is a bad song, but I've always found it very forgettable. #57 - Shiftwork - I thought this would easily be #60. This is one of the few Kenny Chesney songs that I absolutely can not stand. #56 - Back in My Arms Again - I don't even remember this song at all, and even after listening to it for this rankdown I can't remember a single thing about it. I may go back and listen to this again later. #55 - Feel Like a Rock Star - I didn't hate this one as much as most people seemed to, but yeah...still not very good. #54 - Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven - Aside from Shiftwork, this is the only other Chesney song that I can't stand. Everything about it has always rubbed me the wrong way and I find it incredibly annoying.
So far I'm not disappointed by any of the eliminations and aside from Pirate Flag being so low and Noise being #60, there's not anything too shocking so far, but I'm sure that will change soon!

Shame that Feel Like A Rockstar is the duet Kenny and Tim put out when a song like "I Can't Go There" has them both on it (albeit a smaller part for Tim) and is vastly superior imo.

"I Can't Go There" is a fantastic song. Why in the world did Kenny have to waste the opportunity to do duets with Tim and George on "Feel Like A Rockstar" and "Shiftwork"?

I’ll say, when KC was on on the 90s it’s some of (if not) his best material, but when he missed, he missed wide. And I think that’s the key so far with the eliminations. His biggest hits in the 90s (while likely not as well know as the 00s-10s singles) deserve to be at the top of the rankdown imo.

Well I only really like my top 5, with the rest of my top 16 being somewhat enjoyable. Everything below that ranges from boring to horrid. So I only lost one song I like so far and I'm good with that. Having said that while I don't like "Noise" really I didn't get why so many people didn't like it.
