Lead single off of Carrie's fifth studio album, "Storyteller". It received critical acclaim & snatched a Top 5 peak on Country but ended up being one of the least successful singles of the era.
I personally love this one. I mean, it's definitely my least favorite "Storyteller" single but it's still awesome. This album is great! Go Carrie!

I like it even if it's a bit mundane and forgettable by her standards. Looking back now, I can't really imagine any other song on the album kicking off the era.

I remember being really underwhelmed when this came out, especially because I loved "Little Toy Guns" and "Something In The Water."
It grew on me a little bit, but once the album came out and there were far superior songs like "Dirty Laundry," "Mexico" & "Choctaw County Affair" I stopped listening to SB.
I do like that the topic was different for her, but I consider it her weakest lead single and one of the weakest songs on "Storyteller."

I still really like this song and I just love the message that sometimes everyone wants a smoke (or alcohol or whatever it is) break. This song makes me feel better when I'm stressed out.

It's okay. The verses and chorus are incredibly catchy. I just wish the sentiment and the lyrics weren't so cringe-worthy and cliché, because the bones of the song are there.
