Taylor herself is not happy with this whole situation, I can tell you this with 100% of certainty That's probably true because the single didn't live up to the expectations and I would be a hypocrite to say otherwise at this point. But you know what, that's fine for me... sometimes we need to fail to really put some effort into the next thing. And saying this song isn't a hit is wrong anyway. It's not wrong. It's just called a different opinion What really matters for me is the song longevity and how it will affect the artist's future This is not a matter of underperformance because every pop girl goes through it or whatever, she did that to herself

So why didn't Bhad Bhabie's new songs chart anywhere? Were the YouTube streams not counted because they had two songs on one video? Or should we expect her next week? Or what? Seems like they did plenty well enough to chart, but I guess not. I think it's cheating to have 2 songs on the same video. She tried, but still getting some buzz Unless you pay Billboard to favour your song, you can't cheat

What's your definition of longevity? 10 years in the top 10 like Shape Of You? I agree this won't have crazy longevity but it's doing fine, not fine for Taylor, but fine. I agree this is underperforming because the song just failed to connect and RFI was released way too early. People are crazy for Taylor, they just didn't feel this one. But is it worth it discussing the same thing over and over for weeks until we get the 2nd single?

The negativity in this thread is through the roof... I'm not going to sit down and applaud someone who had potential to have a smash but instead released a s**t song that is deservingly going down I do hope she is going to be ok and that I'm truly the only one that thinks she lost credibility The song was #1 on the Hot 100 for 3 weeks, what part of that makes it a failure? I'm finding it very confusing what Pulse considers a hit or a miss these days.

You will figure out So 3 weeks at #1 is considered a failure now? Good to know. Hey I knew the song was polarizing the minute I heard it; I didn't think it would go over very well for a lot of people, but nevertheless, a #1 song is still a #1 song and really shouldn't be considered a failure by any measure.

Its not a failure that she can get to #1 based on name alone, but that radio is already willing to stop playing it, for example

How Do I Live is the theme song of Con Air, a box office hit of that year. That definitely is an added factor to the song's popularity. I personally love it. It's a sweet love song. I didn't expect Sorry Not Sorry hitting the top 10 would ignite some heated talk here Not quite with Con Air. LeAnn recorded it for the film, but Disney rejected it as too pop and LeAnn being too young. Trisha Yearwood then recorded it for the movie, which was also released as a single on the SAME DAY. LeAnn’s video was filmed in a way that anticipated scenes from film being inserted. That didn’t happen. It’s quite a messy story. I forget the song has two versions and the LeAnn Rhimes version was the one that charted high on Billboard. The Trisha Yearwood was the one that was popular in my country

*sees I Fall Apart debut at #65*
Ho boy. Spectrum Pulse's most hated song off of Stoney, along with Deja Vu. He's gonna be pissed big time on Billboard Breakdown tonight.

I honestly have nothing towards SNS being his least favorite song. My critic was only about this part of his comment " Demi is just so... Annoying vocally" . Again, most people can read the presentation of that statement as his personal feelings without the IMO qualifier. Hilary Duff's "This Is What Dreams Are Made Of" The only Duff song I remember hearing out in the wild as a non-Disney Channel-sitcom-watching kid was "So Yesterday", for what that's worth. Wasn't "Come Clean" the theme song for Laguna Beach? I associate the song with that TV show at any rate, and it's what got me into the song.

It's also still #2 on iTunes in terms of current songs. To that end it's most certainly a hit. Now, it may not be one of Swift's biggest hits and it can be seen as being a disappointing lead single, but in a general sense it's a hit.

Is this the first time a song has earned "top airplay gainer" without actually being on the airplay chat?

I get why streaming makes up so many points, but imo it's a telling sign that it's weighted too heavily when a song that's not even charting on the airplay chart is still #2 purely because of streaming power.

I don't know what everyone else thinks, but it's nice to see all the component chart rankings for the Hot 100 top ten condensed into one chart, and it would be awesome to see this every week.

Why if the songs are being heard just as much but a lot of the time by choice because people like it. It's also selling very well so maybe radio is a little slow?

Most of the song's stream are only from music apps like AM and Spotify alone, without a video. I think this is pretty impressive and deserved of a #2 spot this week Not to mention that song actually hit #1 in a few countries in Europe and Oceania I also have to say that most of the time, #1 on sales is not really impressive anymore compared to a song that is like #6 on streaming
