I'm starting to listen to the songs in this RD, and omg he is so consistent in terms of the quality of his songs! This RD will be a really difficult one, that's for sure! Also having to balance 80s, 90s, and 2000s onwards will be hard too.

Well it's not my first lol. But thanks! I wish I would've known about this sooner, I've been trying to get into more country lately! Especially a 100 one from an artist I don't really know. Lol I didn't even think to tag you previously, because I figured only die-hard country fans would be interested in this rankdown! Honestly, I'm thrilled to hear that you would even be 50/50 on it  If it's any sort of motivation, George Strait is legendary for releasing songs that are short but sweet. Clever hooks with catchy melodies, and then finished in 3 1/2 minutes or less. So it may be a little easier to listen to all of them in 10 days than a typical 100-song rankdown full of 4 minute songs would be! |

Or even late night on the 3rd would be okay. I was going to do it this weekend, but this cold had other plans. Anyway, it would be super helpful if we could have the benefit of next weekend, if at all possible. Thanks in advance, lol.

This is the hardest rankdown EVER! GS is my favorite...I do know every song without a listen...discerning how each song makes me feel is how I have to sort into ranks...
Then I want to book a trip to Vegas to see him (yet again!) so he can sing them to me...It's a crapshoot as to whom I've seen more...GS or Alabama...♫❤♫❤

Lol thanks for the promo! You are the hero George deserves  We only have 5 so far, but I'm not too worried yet. I could honestly see the participants list tripling between now and the deadline, considering who all has talked about wanting to participate And I'm hoping that will be the case! Edit: I would also add Kanenrá:ke to the above tag list... He is always good about getting the country rankdowns done |

I've been listening to George Strait a lot for the last few weeks and I really enjoy his music. It's just so nice to hear violins and pedal steel guitars being so prominent. And Also Today I become the proud owner of my very first George Strait album  I will try to send my list till Sunday but I can already see that ranking all this amazing songs will be very difficult task. Lol they both have so many albums, it's a pretty tall task to be able to formulate a list of favorite album tracks for either artist! Like I literally didn't even bother with album tracks for Keith Urban or Kenny Chesney, and combined they only have like half as many albums as George or Reba have all by themselves  So I can't say I blame you! But if you ever do get a chance to check out George's albums, I would highly recommend you do! They are (for the most part) every bit as consistent as his singles catalog. And even with a set of singles as strong as he has, even he has quite a few missed opportunities on several of his albums. |
