It kind of shocks me that Water Under The Bridge has such longevity, fourth single from a mega-successful album released with zero promotion and no music video and peaked at #26. Somehow winds up with 93 million radio audience and still ends up gaining far after it's peak. Only Adele.

Further proof that Water Under the Bridge deserved better, tbh. Third best song she's done, behind RITD and Hello IMO. (Also it's, gonna be a while before we get any new Adele songs so radio might as well milk her last single).
Hopefully Thunder manages to get a good peak on the Hot 100. Radio is so slow...

The first couple of times I heard "Stone Cold" she was performing it live and taking the emotion from 0-100 within a minute. She was so over the top and screechy that I and the other person watching it with me kind of laughed. I feel bad saying that but it's SO over the top. The song isn't awful but sometimes when I listen to it I do smile because of the over the topness and screechy vocals. |

Also, "This is Me" is a f**king Classic and I will not stand for its slander. My issue with Stone Cold is that Demi is trying so hard to copy Adele's Hello, but doesn't understand that it works way better when you build momentum using the verses and then unleash the pyros in the chorus. Sorry, Not Sorry is OK from the few times I've heard it. Not top drawer Demi, but not quite worst territory either. Put me down for Really Don't Care as the worst, mainly because she drags Cher Lloyd into the mix. |
