@ me having the only even number on there. How exactly do you do those closeness stats (plus between posters) fearlessarrow?

 @ me having the only even number on there. How exactly do you do those closeness stats (plus between posters) fearlessarrow ? Um you just take the absolute value of the difference in a member's rank and the rankdown results (for closeness to RD), add them up for all songs, and then take the average! So I ranked "Invisible" at #13 and it was #14 in the actual RD, so |13-14|=1. For "A Perfectly Good Heart", I ranked it at #14 while in the RD it was #13, so that's another |14-13|=1 for me. You do this for all songs, and for me the sum of differences was 26. Since there were 14 songs in the RD, 26/14=1.8571...., and that's my closeness stats to the rankdown. You would basically replace the rankdown results with another poster's rank if you were to do it between members. So for you and I for example, | Your rank (Cody's on the Verge!) | My rank (fearlessarrow) | Absolute value of differences | Teardrops on My Guitar | 1 | 6 | 5 | Should've Said No | 11 | 2 | 9 | Tim McGraw | 7 | 1 | 6 | Our Song | 4 | 5 | 1 | Cold As You | 10 | 4 | 6 | Mary's Song (Oh My My My) | 3 | 3 | 0 | The Outside | 5 | 10 | 5 | Picture to Burn | 13 | 9 | 4 | A Place In This World | 14 | 11 | 3 | I'm Only Me When I'm With You | 2 | 8 | 6 | Stay Beautiful | 9 | 7 | 2 | Tied Together With a Smile | 6 | 12 | 6 | A Perfectly Good Heart | 8 | 14 | 6 | Invisible | 12 | 13 | 1 |
|
| Sum of differences | 60 |
And then you take the average just like for the closeness to the rankdown, so 60/14=4.2857.. and that would be the closeness stats between you and I. The smaller the number is, the closer you are on average as to where you ranked the songs and the larger the number the further your rankings were from each other on average. Idk if as a math person you have a better way to do it, but I think that's how most people do closeness stats in RDs at this point.

Ohh...I get it. I'm just not used to see it done often. Yeah I think it's more common in the pop/rock rankdowns and maybe even the urban ones than the country ones. In fact, I don't think I see it done that often in country rankdowns. It's just a fun little thing at the end of rankdowns to see how your ranks overall stand compared to the rankdown results (and even to other posters)!

#3. "Tim McGraw" Look at my name way at the bottom. and it was still one of my top 10 songs of the album. That's what I call a hit.
#2. "Should've Said No" Exceptional ranking for a great classic.
#1. "Teardrops On My Guitar" I definitely did well on this rankdown. These last two songs were in my top 5. Great winner.
BTW, I need to say that Taylor looked HOT in all the MV's too.

I'm happy with Teardrops on My Guitar as the winner! I've been practicing it on the guitar for a couple weeks now, changing out Drew's name of course.

I used to like "Should've Said No", but that music vid ruined it for me. I will riot if that wins! I'm pretty sure that the song never got a music video. Spoiler: You're talking about "Picture To Burn".

Spoiler: You're talking about "Picture To Burn". Actually... The ACM performance was kind of like a music video since it's on Taylor's other official YouTube account (non-Vevo). But I don't know which music video Cody Wants Out... was talking about since I can potentially see the "Picture to Burn" video turning some people off...

I like the "Picture To Burn" video, it was her first attempt at being OVER THE TOP Taylor.
OK, wait. I forgot she is in an enchanted princess prom dress with eye jewels crying on her guitar in her second ever video.
