I am intrigued to hear this if it has P!nk as she is really talented. Without her though I am probably avoiding this song for as long as possible.
Keith Urban has really frustrated me with his past two albums so hopefully this one can be the one gets me back to being interested in his music.

Maybe we will find out in a few days if P!nk is featured on this. I’m sure he will debut this at the CMA Awards and if she is featured she will no doubt perform it with him.

Hasn't it already been confirmed that P!nk is performing with Keith Urban? It wouldn't make much sense for her to be singing with him on the CMAs if the new single doesn't feature her, and with her dabbling in country music with the Kenny Chesney duet last year, it wouldn't surprise me to see her taking another stab at it. Can't wait to hear this, especially if she's featured on it.

I wish I could say I was excited for this, but I honestly don't think I've liked one of Keith's singles since "Till Summer Comes Around". If this is more of the same pop leaning music Keith has been making lately then I'll definitely pass.

You’ve never seen or heard of Moulin Rogue? Still, I don't think she is known for contributing vocals to the popular music scene... I don't know if she has done it before, but I can say that this is the first time I am hearing of her contributing BGVs to an album. I think it's really cool that she is though! |

Feels a little wordy in the chorus and I think it'll be a grower for me, but I LOVE these verse lyrics. Keith Urban hitting us with that female empowerment anthem. Very nice to have a male artist putting out a song like this. It's sad that I almost feel like it's risky for him to be singing some of these lines that are in this song, but it's so delightful to hear a message like this coming from an A-list male country star given the big gender inequality in the genre, and beyond.

Eh. I'm rather indifferent on this song.
I like the lyrics and I like what this song is portraying. But oh my gosh, there is like no flow in the song whatsoever to me, and just doesn't sound very radio friendly to my ears. I wouldn't be shocked if after the new year, research comes back for this song and it isn't good whatsoever.
This song just sounds so boring to me, and to my ears even Keith Urban sounds checked out. I can appreciate the song, but I just don't really have any desire to go out of my way to listen to this.

I want to like this so much but it has so many words that it sounds awkward and the hook just doesn't work. If feels forced and it's as if they were trying to hard to make this work with the #Metoo subject matter.

We're starting to get the lyricism back a bit, the hard truth is pulling through again (both evident in this song with a message that is as good as any)...but melodically and instrumentally I'm still left with something to be desired. |

The verses are pretty damn fantastic - I am totally here for this empowerment and the part about "laughing saying she asked for it because she was wearing a skirt" - like, slay, Keith. (Which I NEVER say.) Lyrically I am 10,000% behind the verses.
The chorus...I can see what he was going for here but it falls pretty flat for me.
I don't think I'd turn this one off on the radio...but I also don't think I want to listen to it over and over.
But I am thankful that there are some dudes out there legitimately taking up for females and the BS we deal with every damn day.
