The lead single to the soundtrack for the movie "One Chance" written and produced by Swift & Jack Antonoff, this being their first collaboration I believe, released in 2013 The song peaked at #34 on the Hot 100, it is a very poppy number I've always loved this song, it felt like a baby track to what would be 1989, it was a fun song

Idk how I haven’t heard this yet 😂 I freaked out because I thought this was a new track.

I have always wondered it this was a bit of a test, as it was released a year after Red and a year before 1989, so she has already started the new concept for the next album. The reception to this song meant they felt confident 1989 would be well received...Anyway it's just speculation, but at the time I remember thinking this song felt out of place with the rest of the releases, but looking back it's a "bridge" between Red and 1989

Welp, I was excited when it came out and I played it for a few weeks but then it burned quickly. Similar to the "...Ready For It?" situation. This is a mix of 'Red' and '1989', wow. "Starlight" meets "I Wish You Would".
