Not surprised no Madonna.
VH1 in the 80s was kinda in it's own lane. I mean many of the top songs of 87 aren't on the list. U2 had two of the year's biggest hits and they are no where to be found.
It's very AC. just look at the top ten.
Some of these were just huge AC hits. Breakout Sister, Dan Hill/Vonda Shepard, Billy Vera, Smoky Robison, etc. It's a great list of AC hits of 87.
