WTFFFFFFFFFFF????? That's epic. edit: I guess there won't be her next top 10 on billboard. There was a panel change, it seems. Something doesn’t just go to #1 with great updates to suddenly get -6 Million AI

As per that link above, Pop picked up a good number of stations, some of which flipped from Rhythmic. She disappeared from top 50 there, almost certainly due to the stations that flipped.
It also looks like there was an audience recalibration on top of the changes, because the impressions shouldn't have dropped like that from stations being added.
Also re: Billboard if there was an audience adjustment, it should effect everyone and this doesn't necessarily affect Taylor's chances at top 10 if everyone got nerfed the same way.

I just want longevity from this now. No other single this era has really had that.

If someone is feeling ambitious I’d be super curious to know how many times someone has said to discount this song on iTunes each week in this thread

Its success without any of the typical promotional boosts/gimmicks is what makes this so fun to watch, regardless of where it ends up peaking. (Yes, I know, it likely got a boost to #1 at pop radio, but it was already a big hit.)
I was just reading the Hot 100 thread and a couple people are questioning why it's such a big deal that this is a hit. It not being discounted is part of the reason why. Also, it not being performed. Also it followed a pretty brutal underperformance and some polarizing pre-album singles (whose peaks were hype driven more than song driven). Also the #taylorisoverparty hater parade.
What was the last song of Taylor's to get a discount during its chart run?

What was the last song of Taylor's to get a discount during its chart run? LWYMMD for like, a week or two.

With today’s update (thanks to the panel change), this beats the spin peak of LWYMMD on CHR!

Guys pretty much every song on Pop aside from In My Feelings had a huge audience drop due to a panel change.

The panel change didn't cause the audience drop. That part is more likely due to a recalibration on Mediabase' part. A panel change wouldn't cause this to drop ~7 million in AI when it picked up almost 1000 additional spins from the stations that were added to the pop format.

Pop radio must have lost a shitload of listeners in the past year!! But I guess that's the new reality. Less people listen to the radio each year. More and more people are streaming. I bet there will be another 7 million AI drop at the next recalibration. It does make me worry for our fave pop girls. They do quite poorly on streaming and need radio airplay to do well.

Yes this made it to #1 on airplay but what does it really mean? Again in the last week Taylor did some payola to get the airplay #1. Kind of strange how Ariana is getting -250 updates and Taylor +250 updates. It's all well and good but the reality is that this song has yet to make the hot 100 top 10.

Kind of strange how Ariana is getting -250 updates and Taylor +250 updates. It's all well and good but the reality is that this song has yet to make the hot 100 top 10. It means her song is the most played song of the week on pop radio. Yes, the number ones on pop have been artificial lately, but if you have been paying any attention at all, this was well on its way to the summit on its own merits before it stalled. And why did it stall? Same reason: to allow Ariana a week at #1, who also stalled the week prior to allow Bazzi a week at #1. Unfortunately that it how it seems to be working now, however, it's not like these songs are coming from #14 to #1 in one week. These songs are already in the top five and poised to take the top spot anyway. Who cares if this hasn't hit the top ten on the Hot 100 yet? That doesn't take away from just how well this song has done. Again, if you have been paying any attention, you'd know that the song struggled to peak on the three components of the Hot 100 at the same time. If it had been able to align its streaming peak from several months ago with its sales and airplay peak right now, it would actually be comfortably inside the top ten. But that really doesn't matter because you're acting like it's a huge flop for not being in the top ten when in reality, how many songs go top ten? Is every song that doesn't go top ten a failure? Absolutely not. It's not even far away from that area right now anyway. It's #15. As if five while spots make a huge difference in determining what classifies as a hit or not. You need to knock it off with your flame bait, and before you start your usual whining on how I'm attacking you or abusing you of "being stupid" (you've literally accused me of this via PM before), consider this: This isn't the first time you've tried to knock down this song's successes in this thread, so you're pretty obviously trolling. You are more than old enough to understand how all of these things work. You've been on Pulse for how long now? Certainly long enough to understand that peaks only tell one snapshot of an entire story. Certainly long enough to comprehend behind the scenes stuff goes on at radio all of the time (even with your precious Camila Cabello, who you still claim didn't get fair treatment by Ed Sheeran for some reason). Certainly long enough to stop acting like you're an ignorant newbie. Yet here we are yet again. I've had more than enough of it and so have many others here, so please, for the love of God, change your attitude and this before you post, or leave. We don't like a "but it didn't do this" or a "this is done" our a "this is all payola" queen.

I’m aware this will officially be #1 on Mediabase today, but will this also get the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 #1?

I’m aware this will officially be #1 on Mediabase today, but will this also get the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 #1? It should. The panels aren't extremely different, and it's well ahead of Friends and Girls Like You here, so it should also be ahead on Billboard's panel.

If my memory serves me right, Didn't Never Be the Same peak in the top ten because of a remix? Nonetheless, you can't diminsh that song's success (the radio plays it nonstop). Moreover, this is the crux of the problem pop is facing right now. Most pop artists are doing better on sales and radio play, but are lagging in streaming. Streaming is a major factor in the Hot 100 algorithm now. It just seems like pop music hasn't adjusted to this fact yet. Once pop music has adjusted to streaming services, I believe the top ten will go back to some normalcy.

I am also tired of people looking down on Look What You Made Me Do’s #1 becuase of (what it seems to us, but isn’t confirmed) payola. Payola can only get you so far and it still hit #1. I think I remember Hands To Myself and Send My Love (To Your New Lover) going through extremely similar things but no one spits on those songs. Remember when Cake By The Ocean wasn’t even #1 but the label said in a newsletter that it was going to be the next #1 but then it didn’t get past #2? If you think Look What You Made Me Do was the only song ever to get pushed to #1 by what looks like payola and that because of that its #1 isn’t real or doesn’t count, you need to reevaluate your thinking. I’m also tired of the word payola now too lol bht that’s word policing

Regardless, I am thrilled they both hit the top spot! So that's, what: #1 "Look What You Made Me Do" #11 "Ready For It" #10 "End Game" #1 "Delicate"
