"I hope that fans of black music are too impoverished to afford Spotify, because I am angry at the success of black music styles." But guys! That's not racist. A lot of them are white, like Post Malone! edit: I legit can’t tell if you’re being serious I mean, obviously it's a kind of screwed up thing to say... Not like I'm actually holding a grudge against you or think your a Klan person or something, lol.

It was during the montage of leading to death of a major character. As I said yesterday in the iTunes thread, it can't be coincidence that it started selling bundles right after the show aired. The Blacklist isn't as popular or as water-cooler as it used to be. Agreed - TBL has fallen hard from the first season, that's why I was surprised. Odd they used it at same time other video went viral. Obviously they filmed weeks in advance.

Are we really gonna let a man who pled guilty to sexual misconduct with a 13 year old chart on the hot 100? (Tekashi69-GUMMO for those unaware) You’d think we’d be better than this especially with all the stuff that’s been going on in this country but nope.

Chris Brown still charts on the Hot 100. And so do a number of other unsavory characters. Look who's in the White House.

If you like the music, that should be enough. Well...at least it is for me. Running a criminal background check on someone before I buy a song is too much work.

I personally don't care about the public indiscretions of an individual performer. If I like the song I will listen to it (even Chris Brown) I recognize, that boycotting certain artists because of one thing or another(news items, politics, etc.) is important to others, just not to me.

We might see that change now that streaming data is showing urban music is popular. Nah. Streaming's been showing the popularity of urban music since 2015, and no major influx of urban on radio. Reason's pretty obvious: the people listening to radio are not generally urban fans. Top 40 is going to continue to look more and more like Hot AC as younger people abandon radio. I think your second point is valid, but I'd also argue we have seen a bit of a shift. I don't think songs like Bodak Yellow, Wild Thoughts, and now Rock Star would have had as much Top 40 play as they did without streaming data.

Also, he was 17 and he wasn't having sex with the girl in question. He was actually having sex with another guy, and the 13 year old girl was apparently also in the video. The video was leaked on Twitter by the guy who is featured on "F**k Love", as they are in some sort of a beef.

Also seems like End Game and ready For it will just be competing at the same time Yeah, although if I were them I would focus all the efforts on RFI still, at least for the next few weeks, because it does seem to be making steady gains in airplay and holding high in sales and relatively well in streaming. If it levels off or doesn't go anywhere, it wouldn't be an entirely bad idea to give a full-on radio push to End Game in December. I believe they did that with Dark Horse when they realized Unconditionally was fizzing out, and of course that turned out alright. I actually don't like End Game that much, because it seems awkward with Taylor and Ed trying to sing basically a hip-hop song, but everyone else seems to think it would do well, so if having hits is what's most important, then go for it.

XXXTENTACION and Kodak Black were though. XXX has also gone on record to say that he tried to kill his gay cellmate for looking at him funny.

I'm very impressed that P!nk has managed to remain relevant for so long. Real career longevity. Multigenerational. The fact that she is getting bigger airplay hits in her late 30s than she was in her early 20s is amazing.

Praying is still chugging along radio. I know top 10 might be unlikely, but that would be amazing if she pulled it off, looks like it has a chance of hitting #12 at least.
