I am sure this has been talked about before but it is very interesting to see songs with featured artists dominating charts after 2000s. When you look at pre 90s charts, its all about solo artists and some duets.

"Shape of You" has really been free falling the past week or two. Is that due to AC/HAC stations dropping it for "Perfect" (and perhaps holiday music)?

I think when Billboard says that the new streaming rules would be implemented at the start of 2018, I don't think they mean the start of the 2018 chart year. I think they actually mean the start of the 2018 calendar year. And I believe they'll likely implement it around the time when they usually adjust the formula to favor sales over streaming at least a little every year, that being in February.

Imo Gucci Gang shooting up to #3 despite non-existent sales/radio is proof that streaming is weighted too heavily. I totally get weighting streaming more then the other two components, considering that reflects how people consume music these days, but this is too extreme imo when songs with great sales/radio can't go top 10 because of one competent sucking so much (see: What About Us).
