I was expecting better but based on first listen, not bad. I need to listen more to rank it though

I like all but Roll the Dice. Telluride live was better than the recorded version.

I like about half the album, the only song I really love is "Cowboy Lullaby". One thing I think was a mistake was using so many pop songwriters, the best songs on the album are the one's written by country songwriters. Here are my rankings:
1.Cowboy Lullaby 2.Sleeping In The Stars 3.Break First 4.Telluride 5.Devil Callin' Me Back 6.The Bed We Made 7.The Bed We Made 8.Damn Good At Holding On 9.Speak To A Girl 10.Love Me To Lie 11.Roll The Dice

This album is incredible. The only mediocre song on it is the title cut/current single, so it really reinforces my sadness that they wasted a single option on that one. Everything else is literally an A-worthy track imo. They definitely did not disappoint me with this album, and it was well worth the wait for them to finally record a duets project together. They're just magic.

This is on Showtime and On Demand now. Really good with a lot of behind the scenes footage.

I really like this after a couple of listens. I see this possibly ending up in my top 5 albums of the year, top 10 being a lock. I don't get Showtime, but would have loved to see the special. I saw the 5 minutes of it that they streamed on Facebook, and it seemed great.

Random thought, but I kinda wish they'd titled the second track "Feels Like Home" instead on account of Tim McGraw already having a song named "Telluride" in his catalog. It's like "Shotgun Rider" all over again, lol.

Amazing numbers for Tim & Faith!
Tim McGraw & Faith Hill (Arista Nashville) 95-110k SPS, 90-105k Albums
I was not expecting this could cross 100k! It's a huge improvement from Tim's last debut (which did around 35k)

His last album, Damn Country Music, only opened with about 40k, so this is a 2.5x increase in consumer interest.

I love this album. Ballads have nice melodies and more uptempo songs are great to prevent the album from sounding monotonous. I listened to whole album twice and so far I like all songs apart from Speak to a Girl (and even this one is slowly starting to grow on me). My favourite song right now is still The Rest Of Our Life (I love the second verse and Faith voice in it) but I might change my mind after listening to all songs a few more times. I can imagine driving a couple of hours with having this album on and singing along to every single song. And those numbers...

I have not been able to hear the album yet but I just finished watching the Showtime special. If you have not seen it and are able to, please do as soon as possible. It is absolutely incredible. I love when specials just show the concert, like the one Carrie Underwood also released yesterday, but Tim and Faith created something more than the regular tour special with this and I applaud them for it. The behind-the-scenes moments, the interviews, the archival footage - everything was fantastic. I don't get Showtime, but would have loved to see the special. I saw the 5 minutes of it that they streamed on Facebook, and it seemed great. From one Canadian without Showtime to another, I have some good news! It's available on Crave, so see if you can watch it on there. I don't have an account and, for some reason, was able to watch the entire special on their website just by clicking on it. If that doesn't work for you, though, you can create an account and use the free trial.

Speak To A Girl is the worst song on here and by a large margin, I have no clue why that was chosen to lead this project off. I feel rather certain any other song would have done better.

I don't necessarily think it's a bad song but it's clearly the worst option for radio on this album...the message is why it was released but anything else should've been the lead single.

For the life of me I can't understand how "Roll The Dice" made the album, it's one of the worst songs I've heard in quite a while.

I consider myself a decent McGraw fan. And while none of them were favorites , I haven't minded the majority of the Faith duets over the years. This album is abysmal and bland to me. Its definitely his worst effort since "Emotional Traffic" , and probably his first studio album I'll skip purchasing.

Debut Sales Week around 100KI'd say that's pretty good, considering Tim hasn't debuted that high in a while. They of course won't hit #1 on the Billboard 200, but, it's still good.

Sales figures reported by Hitsdailydouble.com do not include redeem, so the final data will be higher.
Personally I'm adoring this album. Surely the primary plan is to relaunch Faith Hill's career and image (also after the Soul2Soul success!) and keep the couple (now 50 years old) relevant. Those who expected a deep, political, or too traditional album did not understand that the album is a combo of two different careers (perhaps a recap of who are Tim & Faith as artists and couple) and probably they preferred to give more emphasis to the style of Faith with Tim's support. It could be better, maybe with less production, with some simplification in the sounds (the highlight is Cowboy Lullaby, a song non overproducted), but I don't find a single song to throw. Good job!
As for the songs: this is currently my ranking:
Cowboy Lullaby - Tim McGraw at his peak, a spectacular song, a single (with 4-minute radio edit); had to keep it for a solo album ...
The Bed We Made (Lori McKenna / Liz Rose / Hillary Lindsey songwriters are very good to create simple and meaningful lyrics and pieces of ordinary life)
The Rest Of Our Life (maybe too slow for current radio stations but perfect for launching the album and with a good music video... and it is selling very well! # 1 on Itunes Country songs currently and also on Itunes country music videos)
Telluride (fun, uptempo, with a little gospel inside, the live version (shorter) on Today Show a few dayss ago was great);
Sleeping In The Stars (on the "Keep Your Eyes on me"'s mood as a style and genre...catchy melody);
Devil Calling Me Back (not original but with a good sung by Tim and the presence of the organ makes it a mood ... it's gaining on Spotify Hot Country playlist)
Damn Good At Holding On (another song written by Lori and country athmosphere)
Break First (I guess it will be a single...not my favourite but good performance)
Speak To A Girl (good album track, with references to a pop adult oriented music but not a single ... they wanted to give us the message...a possible Grammy contender?)
Roll The Dice (funny and carefree album closure ... with 1970s vibrations in production like they wanted ... opposing slow and serious opening song)
Love Me To Lie (Faith Hill song at 100%...great vocals...but i prefer Tim's style)

I wish I liked this album more. I really like their past duets, but something falls flat here. There are some really good songs, but it was missing something, and I'm not sure what.

“Break First” is sensational and needs to be the third single. The whole album was great I thought.

I think this is how I'd rank the album tracks: 01. Love Me to Lie 02. Damn Good at Holding On 03. Break First 04. Telluride 05. Speak to a Girl 06. The Bed We Made 07. Cowboy Lullaby 08. Devil Callin' Me Back 09. Sleeping in the Stars 10. Roll the Dice 11. The Rest of Our Life Faith Hill sounds absolutely incredible on "Love Me to Lie" and "Damn Good at Holding On." It's so great to finally have her back. "Break First" and "Telluride" are fantastic and would be great single options, so I really hope one of those two is next at country radio, if not both of them, depending on how far they ride the duets project out. Love everything on the album though except "Roll the Dice" which is fine for what it is, but a little funky/rough in sound, and the title cut which is also fine, but a little boring for me, especially in comparison to the rest of the album, and I still can't get into Tim's falsetto. They sound good together on the chorus and Faith killed her verse (as to be expected).

1. Break First 2. Telluride 3. The Bed We Made 4. Speak To A Girl 5. Damn Good At Holding On 6. Love Me To Lie 7. Sleeping In The Stars 8. The Rest Of Our Life 9. Cowboy Lullaby 10. Devil Callin' Me Back 11. Roll The Dice
That's my ranking, I think. I love "Speak To A Girl" and totally understand why it was a single, but for selfish commercial reasons, wish it wasn't the lead single. I think if I were picking singles, I would have gone:
1. Telluride 2. Break First 3. The Bed We Made 4. Speak To A Girl
I think we would've seen 2-3 #1s that way, and then "Speak To A Girl" may have flopped, but at least it would have been heard following three hits.

I have this album on repeat for the last few days and my only complaint is that is too short.
1. Damn Good At Holding On 2. Cowboy Lullaby 3. The Rest Of Our Life 4. Break First This are my 4 favourite songs on this album and it was almost impossible to rank them because I can't decide which one I love the most. If I were writing this post when my mood would be different or if the moon was in the different position any of them could be my #1.
Damn Good At Holding On is amazing - they sounds so good together on chorus, melody and lyrics are going straight to my heart and Faith's vocal performance is flawless. I simply love this song.
Cowboy Lullaby - I think this is my favourite song by Tim McGraw (out of those that I know of course). Everything that I write for Damn Good At Holding On also applies for this song - just replace Faith with Tim :) I really like how he compare the nature of horses with his own.
The Rest Of Our Life and Break First - Both songs are great each in it's own way. They both remind me of the duets that Tim and Faith did in the past. I love the video for the Rest Of Our Life and I know I sound like a broken recored by now but second verse (Faith solo) of this song is pure perfection.
5. Love Me To Lie 6. The Bed We Made 7. Speak To A Girl 8. Telluride 9. Sleeping In The Stars 10. Roll The Dice
Love Me To Lie and The Bed We Made - Faith sounds so so good... I hope that Faith will release another solo album in the near future because she still has the same amazing voice and I really want more songs like this two and Damn Good At Holding On.
Speak To A Girl - I didn't like this song when it was first released as a singel but it has grown on me a lot since then and I really appreciate the message it sends.
Sleeping In The Stars - It's a nice slow song. Great album track but I hope they won't release it as singel.
Telluride - It's not a type of song that I usually like but I like this one more and more everytime I listen to it. And that instrumental outro reminds me of instrumental parts of 80s rock songs .
Roll The Dice - I have just two words for this one - catchy af. The first time I heard the chours I started to think where did I hear the song like this before.
11. Devil Calling Me Back
The only song in this album that I don't like. It's not a bad song for what it is but I just don't like the vibes it gives off.
Singels
1. Break First 2. The Rest Of Our Life 3. Telluride 4. Damn Good At Holding On/ Cowboy Lullaby
