What is so bad about How Bizarre? It was my 2nd favorite discovery after Da Dip. My 2 best first listens are my first top 20s out. Of course the worst R&B song is making it the furthest.

All these nice r&b songs going out while that horrible Babyface song is still in. It was like the most boring song that I ever ever heard. More boring than Earned It and Read Your Mind. Although it's not even my 75, I don't get how that song is liked too much while the other R&b songs especially Keith Sweat are out already. |

holy crap!!! i've never led the closeness on any rankdown at any point before...but *two* P-P-P-P-PERFECT RANKINGS!! in the last 10 reveals, having the highest "low ranking" left & the lowest "high ranking" eliminated certainly helped me achieve this

'How Bizarre' is a song I knew but I didn't... like, I knew the song when I heard it 'cause I do remember hearing it when I was a kid, but I didn't know the song title or artist. It ended up somewhere in the middle of my list 'cause I never loved it but it never really bothered me either.

Having said that, time has warmed me up to the song a bit. Still haven't lost anything that would really upset me or anything, but...give it time. :kii: |

Not doing too badly here at all. Even though I had a few losses that I'm unhappy about, clearing out my bottom 7 makes up for that.

75. Butterfly Kisses - Good riddance. Shocking that this type of schmaltz was still able to hit on CHR in 1997.
74. Hard To Say I'm Sorry - I actually prefer this over the original, but that's not saying much. Not quite bottom 2 worthy, but nothing I'm losing sleep over.
73. Da Dip - Aww come on, this is fun '90s dance rap song in the vein of "Whoomp! There It Is". It was in the bottom half of my list, but that's just because this is a really good year for the m ost part.
72. I'm Still In Love With You - This was pretty dull. Just missed a perfect ranking.
71. When You Love A Woman - Okay as far as power ballads go, I guess. Not a big fan of that style, or of Journey in general.
70. Invisible Man - Another dull ballad.
69. Nobody - I remember liking this back in the day, but it has not aged well at all. Keith Sweat's voice is really grating, and the song doesn't stand out enough to make up for it.
68. Mouth - This one deserved a little better. It's quirky, but an appealing way, and very catchy.
67. Secret Garden - Now this is an AC ballad that actually deserved success, even if it was only riding on the coattails of Jerry Maguire. Hard to go too wrong with Bruce.
66. Ooh Aah... Just A Little Bit - Not one of the better '90s dance songs. I think I overranked it a little.
65. 4 Seasons of Loneliness - Another R&B ballad that I liked more when it was new. It's okay, but it's no "End of the Road".
64. I Go Blind - Solid cover of a good song. Deserved better.
63. Twister - See "Nobody".
62. All Cried Out - Another solid cover of a good song, definitely more deserving of a then-contemporary R&B update than "Hard To Say I'm Sorry".
61. How Bizarre - Fun, quirky, guilty pleasure type song. Deserved better but I'm not really surprised by the ranking.
