Hello pulse, and welcome to the 2017 R&B/Hip Hop Rankdown! 

The 2014, 2015 & 2016 rankdowns were so much fun so I'm really looking forward to this one.
We first started in 2016 with Fetty Wap surprising everyone as his song 679 stole the win from Starboy.
Then we went back to 2015, where Fetty Wap got his 2nd win in a row with Trap Queen.
In 2014 though, Childish Gambino was the one to grab the first place with his awesome song 3005.

Who's gonna take the win home this year? You are going to decide.

The Rules: 
1. PM me the list of the 2017 R&B/Hip Hop year end ranked to your preference, with #1 being your favorite and #100 is your least.
2. The submissions are open until January 18th (Thursday) at 11 PM EST, No extensions will be given because of tests period in school coming up.

I decided actually to do ballot updates every 3 lists I get. (credit to Red for bringing this idea to pulse!)

So this is our first Ballot Update for this rankdown.
The first 3 submitters were jtd Thee Stallion  z & @walker9 and they all were different from each other.

- The battle for the #1 spot is obviously very close right now, only 4 points separate them. Though the gap between the #2 and the #3 is relatively big, 11 points.
- All 3 lists had different #1s and none of them are in the top 10 as of now.
- z 's list pushed a certain song down from the top 10 to outside of the top 50 and with @walker9 's list, it returned to the top 50.
- 3 songs stayed in the top 10 from the first list.
- only 1 song stayed in the bottom 10 from the first list, it's #94 right now.
- The current #1 doesn't have a top 5 rank and barely has a top 10 rank.
- The highest SD has a huge SD, 56.58! and it's #84 right now.
- The lowest SD is #100 as of now.

2nd Ballot update should be coming soon, as I have 6 lists already.

As I've said earlier, I got another 3 lists, which means it's time for our second Ballot Update!

The next 3 submitters are crazyb , YotamTS (that's me : p) and newcomer to R&B/Hip Hop rankdowns Bwol .


- We have a new #1, that jumped over our previous right after crazyb 's list and remained there. It also has a sizeable gap over #2, 25 points already.
- The song that was #1 in our previous update fell to #4, though that's still really good for a song with barely any top 10 ranks.
- The song that had the highest SD in the last update still has a huge SD, 46.33. It actually had a big 40 spots jump from #86 to #43 with the last 3 lists.
- Only 1 song has been in the top 10 since the first list.
- The previous #100 jumped to #98 with Bwol 's list and the current #100 is already 60 points behind #99.
- The lowest SD sits at #96 with SD of 4.69.

- The biggest jumps this set: #38-14, #46-15, #88-37, #84-43, #94-45  
- The biggest drops this set: #10-49, #13-60, #22-64, #35-84, #28-85,

Finally got another 3 lists, so you know what time it is. It's time for another Ballot Update!

This time our 3 lists come from newcomer to R&B/Hip Hop Rankdowns singingrulebritannia , Beno & Normi ! 
We have quite a few changes.

- The thing that didn't change though, is our #1. The song had a big lead in the last update, though now the lead has shrunk to just 6 points. #3 is 9 points behind #2 and every list could change the whole top 5.
- There's still only 1 song that's been in the top 10 from the start... our current #1.
- A song that was in the bottom 10 for the whole submission process except the first list has finally got out of the bottom 10 with Normi 's list. Could it keep on gaining will it drop back to the original #100 spot it held?
- Speaking of #100s, Normi 's list has changed the #100 for the first time in 3 lists. 
- #99 now has a lead of 13 points over the current #100. #98 is 57 points ahead of #99 though.
- The highest SD is still the same song and it's at #69 as of now, the song still has an SD of over 40. Also, we have 6 songs that have an SD of over 35.
- The lowest SD though is at #97 as of now.

- The biggest jumps this set: #81-43, #70-45, #73-46, #72-49, #92-62
- The biggest drops this set: #11-33, #17-35, #40-66, #43-69, #70-89
