One of two tracks from 1982's album of the same name that was remixed for 1987's Chronicles compilation. This wasn't nearly as big as the "Valerie" remix, but it did go Top 20 Rock and Top 10 AC. This was one of two of his hits (the other being "Don't You Know What the Night Can Do") to be used in the popular "The Night Belongs to Michelob" commercials in the late 80's.
Love it.

Steve Windwood - "Talking Back To The Night" It's actually Winwood, not Windwood. But yeah, this song, the original being the title track to his 1982 album (which also contained the original mix of "Valerie) was a good one - should have done better at Pop than it did.

This one's alright. Not a bad song, but I prefer most of his bigger hits over it. (the other being "Don't You Know What the Night Can Do") That one was originally written specifically for Michelob, wasn't it?

Steve claims it wasn't written specifically for the commercial, but it was featured in the commercials before it was commercially released.

Good song. The original version from the Still in the Game album is my favorite version. That was a great album, but Arc of a Diver album is my favorite of his albums.
