I have to be honest that I'm intrigued. I hope he doesn't fully back to the EDM formula he did with 18 Months and Motion because Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 was the right direction to change his sound, so he could continue to experiment with it. Adam is capable of that and I want to be surprised again. Also, he has nothing to lose at this point of his career in my opinion.

Damn. Even though i'm a big fan of Motion and 18 Months, Funk Wav Bounces was hands down his best album plus the sounds he was trying were very unique and just sounded so good.

He extended his Vegas residency with Hakkasan Group until 2020. At this rate, I guess I need to plan my trip to Las Vegas to see him again. Either way, get that money, king!
Nick McCabe, CEO of Hakkasan Group, said the following:
"We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Calvin, who has been an integral part of our artist roster since his debut at Hakkasan in 2013. To have an artist of his caliber performing regularly in our venues allows us to continue our mission of creating extraordinary experiences and providing our guests access to the world's greatest artists."

The profile pictures of his social media were changed with the ones below around mid last month.
Nowadays, there's an ad popping up on Google and YouTube, which matches with them and if it's clicked, it takes to this site. New music from him should be happening sooner than later and I can't wait for this.
I echo the statements that I don't want him to go back to the sound of 18 Months or Motion (or the singles between that and Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 1). His last album was such a breath of fresh air that I think he should continue with this sort of direction. I'll take the urban sound, or go back to the disco sound for this one. If he gives us a "Sweet Nothing", I guess I can live with it.
