I highly doubt the Spotify pre-save is regarding an album. I'm aware that the announcement of Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 came out of nowhere, but I think it's pretty safe to say that this is about a standalone release instead.

PartyNextDoor) was a bit of a damp squib for Calvin Harris peaking at No.48, but he's back on form with Dua Lipa collaboration "One Kiss", which opens at No.3 (49,091 sales). Harris' 35th Top 75 entry, it raises his tally of Top 10 entries to 24. It is also Dua Lipa's eighth hit, and her fifth to make the Top 10. "One Kiss" has the highest sale for a No.3 since Eminem & Ed Sheeran's "River" sold 50,351 copies in that position 15 weeks ago.

"Nuh Ready Nuh Ready" is so underrated though, I still jam to it all the time. I don't think anyone really gave it a chance, it's really a grower.

Also, I'm still wondering if the Halsey remix is for "Alone" or perhaps a future release.

"One Kiss" reaches atop in the UK this week, becoming Adam's ninth and Dua's second #1 there.

Leadership of the singles chart changes hands for the fourth week in a row, with Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa's "One Kiss" advancing from its debut position of No.3 to take the title.

Harris' ninth No.1 – a total equaled or surpassed by only 10 other acts in chart history - and Dua Lipa's second, "One Kiss" leads a reshuffled top three in which all enjoy double digit sales growth.

The second Harris single in a row to climb 3-1 – his first seven No.1s all debuted there – "One Kiss" saw growth of 42.80% last week to 70,106 sales, including 47,679 from sales-equivalent streams. It had paid-for sales of 22,427 – which, like its overall tally, is the highest of 2018. Only two of his No.1s have credited him solo, and he has worked with different collaborators on each of the rest. It is interesting that he chose Dua Lipa for the latest – her only previous No.1, "New Rules", dethroned his last No.1, "Feels" (feat. Pharrell, Katy Perry & Big Sean) last August.

All of Harris' No.1s have come in a less than 10 years, and the only acts with more No.1s to their credit in the 21st century are Westlife (10). Rihanna and Eminem also have nine. Seven of Harris' No.1s have come in the 2010s, putting him top of that list alongside Tinie Tempah.

Harris' 2014 chart-topper "Summer" became his fourth million-seller last week in a list topped (naturally) by 2011 Rihanna collaboration, "We Found Love", which has sold 1,780,814 copies. Cumulative UK consumption of Harris tracks, including sales-equivalent streams stand at 17.581,366.

I really hope he does another album like Funk Wav Bouncez Vol. 1. Definitely my favorite album of his. I love how he went in more of a hip hop direction and I love the choice of artists that he featured on it. Still listen to this album all the time.

Calvin and Aarika were involved in a car accident in Beverly Hills over the weekend. This is the second time that this has happened to him in two years.

It is only the second of Harris' nine No.1 singles to spend four weeks in a row at No.1, matching the run of 2008 Dizzee Rascal and Chrome collaboration "Dance Wiv Me". His 2011 Rihanna collaboration, "We Found Love", spent six weeks at No.1 in total but that was split into two runs of three weeks. It is a measure of how much Harris has achieved that, despite its lengthy No.1 tenancy, "One Kiss" is still only his 18th biggest seller, while it is Dua Lipa's seventh biggest seller.
