Well...it's not night yet on my end, but I feel like kickin' off the next set of reveals! BTW, y'all did most of these inexplicably dirty. Therefore, expect bunches and bunches of these:

His songs on this particular list were all on the boring side for me. They're not outright bad, but below the average quality across this group.

I didn't dislike any of Steve Wariner's songs from this year but I didn't love any of them either.

...and this concludes our 'really really REALLY shocking elimination'.
Anyone wanna take a guess at what I did there?

Steve Wariner is a pretty mediocre artist so not surprised at all. My only qualm here is that the two I ranked in my 60s/70s went out before the one I put in my bottom 10, lol.

Not at all surprised to see Steve Wariner out already. I consider him to be a very underrated performer on Pulse as I believe there's many who are not familiar with a lot of his work from the 80's. He had so many great songs in the mid to late 80's..."Lonely Women Make Good Lovers," "What I Didn't Do," "Some Fools Never Learn," "You Can Dream of Me," "Life's Highway," "Small Town Girl," "The Weekend," and the list goes on and on.
Unfortunately, his early 90's work wasn't as good IMO...but I'm glad he had a career resurgence in the late 90's.

Last result for the evening sees our first elimination from a group...along with my first top 30 and someone else's...
Oh yeah! Someone also finally loses their #102!

Aww poor Steve Wariner lol I get it though, as tim said his early 90's stuff was on the weaker side so I get why he wouldn't be supported here. Still "The Tips Of My Fingers" deserved better lol. Ronnie and Kenny both had much better in their careers but these were good middle of the road songs and I was hoping they wouldn't go out right away but I should've figured. I always wanted to like Ricky's singles from this year more but something felt off about them to me.

Yes it's all bboat11's fault! In all honesty though I feel like I overranked this a bit. I just never cared too much for Little Texas compared to all the other groups from the 90's. I also liked Tim and Brady's solo stuff a lot more.

Not upset over these latest reveals, although it would have been nice to see "After The Lights Go Out" make it higher.

None of the reveals so far are necessarily bad songs, just not nearly as good as what 1992 had to offer.
I personally enjoyed Little Texas' singles a lot, but this one isn't up in my favorites for them.

There's a handful of Little Texas songs that I like...but I'd certainly rank this lower now than I did initially. I've seen Little Texas live a few times back in the 90's when they were opening for Travis Tritt/Trisha Yearwood and then headlining with Tim McGraw and Blackhawk (they also headlined a local county fair show in my hometown of Nebraska lol).

Since Steve's gone, let's take someone else down, shall we? I’m pretty sure I’m the biggest RVS fan on Pulse...so this was just nothing but

I personally enjoyed Little Texas' singles a lot, but this one isn't up in my favorites for them. This is how I feel. I really like most of their later work (and everything else Tim Rushlow has touched), but their first album hasn't aged that well.

Let's break the monotony a lil bit shall we?
The next set of reveals will be a first for us: two top tens will be eliminated (with one of them coming up next) as well as four top 20s!

Seriously what's so wrong with Steve Wariner? I don't know many songs of his but A Woman Loves, The Tips of My Fingers and Leave Him Out of This are all great and would deserve better than bottom 10. I have never heard of Little Texas before this rankdown but because I liked You and Forever and Me and First Time for Everything I listend to more songs that they recorded and I like thier music a lot so far. If You Want to Find Love - It's a classic Kenny Rogers song. It sounds a lot like his other songs (coward of a county, Lucille) and I enjoy his music quite a bit. I was expecting that it would be eliminated soon but bottom 2 was still an unpleasent surprise.

I'm sure you've heard of the adage about killing two birds with one stone. Well, how about killing a third one? 1) potential clue for #94, with only a single top 20 loss 2) a salute to one of tim 's 80s Ladies of country music (rankdown is open for submissions!) 3) an honorable mention, which only peaked outside the top 10 at the end of '92.

Right artist, wrong song. Unfortunately, you lose a top 30 though.
93. John Anderson - When It Comes to YouBillboard Hot Country Songs Peak: 3 (peak date: July 25, 1992) Billboard Hot Country Songs of 1992: 25 Total Points: 1125 Average Rank: 70.3125 Standard Deviation: 25.97362444 LBTrocks - 11 Glove Slap - 26 George Strait Junkie - 43 rgreen0625 - 46 mamasaid - 71 .indulgecountry - 71 Kanenrá:ke - 71 sabre14 - 72 Cody Wants Out... - 78 CoJoFan - 80 kw9461 - 86 castleoblivion26 - 89 tim - 90 bboat11 - 95 someguy - 95 BackwoodsBarbie - 101 Following: fearlessarrow
Now is the time for LBTrocks to resume his reputation of being the way he is at rankdowns (ya know what I mean? ) as he becomes one of the first to join the top 20 losses club. If a man can't impress a woman no matter how hard he tries, one of his first thoughts (well, one of mine) would be the main idea of this song: "how come I always have a hard time, honey when it comes to you". Not bad by any means, but there's much better that this year had to offer.
