The presales for Cleveland that I qualify for are next week. But our arena uses SeatGeek instead of Ticketmaster so idk how that makes a difference.
On another topic, I could probably list about 60 hits she could include. She can probably get 50 in with medleys and mash-ups, so I'm interested to see what the result is. Janet usually packs in about 40 songs with medleys for comparison

I got my ticket for one of the shows in Austin. Not an amazing seat, but oh well. I've seen her before and pretty close. When I got in queue there were 655 ahead of me. A lot of the better seats were gone already. Some floor tickets were going for more than 5k. If I have to say an average, the price of normal seats left was $400. The one I found though was I think $284. That thing of being in queue took me back to the late 90s when I used to do a physical line to get my concert tickets. I clearly remember doing it for Tina Turner among others. The line was at the mall since one of the department stores had the office to sell tickets.

She was on her farewell tour when I was still in high school so I had no money to go and I don't think she came to Pittsburgh anyway. The Fieldhouse in Cleveland is still good even in the upper level nosebleed seats. I sat in that area for Mary J. Blige and felt like I could see everything just fine. I also went to the MDNA and Rebel Heart tours with good seats so I'm not to pressed to be up close.

^Same here, bat. With the MX show, she walked by and I got to fist bump her left, gloved hand, so I don't think anything will top that.
Good on those who won't be a Madonna-concert virgin, any longer- shout out to Rose W. :)
I could not justify the VIP prices or any non-sensical "platinum" seats, where they were more than VIP packages that at least had perks. Again, if M was for sure partaking in any of the perks, that would be another story.
We got tix for the last (?) show in NYC, Aug. 27- Sec. 109, Row 13, seats 2-3. I think I had similar seats for the re-Invention Tour- albeit, not as costly as $757.30. 😄 Still pricey, but not bad for the overall scope of things.
AUgust, you are quite the veteran. :) Girlie was my first show, and I've been to all since except Sticky & Sweet. repInvention is the only one I saw twice (first in NYC, and then Philly).

I went to both the tour in 1996 when she was around 57 and the 2000 one when she was like 61. I remember thinking how GREAT she was for THAT age!! The energy! ha ha. She really was DYNAMITE! Now me in my 50s going to a Madonna show with her 65 years old.

I got a ticket for Friday night in ATX. A bunch of friends also got tickets in the same section. I know it's going to be packed with gays but our section will be wild. lol. I'm excited to see what she gives us since this will be a career-spanning set. If we get to see her go from past to present, that'd be amazing.

When I went online to buy the tickets, there were 2000+ people in the queue in front of me. I was actually expecting it to say sold out or something. Was this technically a pre-sale? Are they going to release cheaper nosebleed seats perhaps? Ah, waiting in line for tickets! I've done that for shows in Boston and Cambridge for shows I would just show up at the door to buy tickets.

I paid the exact same price as you for NYC for this tour. 757 plus $111 in fees. I am in section 105. I am a veteran! On another note, I have to assume she will be announcing another leg to this tour. She has not gotten this much press for a tour in a LONG time. Given the scope and attention, I can't imagine she would only limit to North America and Europe. She is huge in Latin America, so I can see her adding dates in South America, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. I would also expect to see her hit Asia / Oceania. Australia has been getting mad at her for neglecting them too often.

So I spent $800+ for a pair of tickets to her 4th NYC show on Sunday night. I don’t plan on indulging that much on any concert again. There is no other artists worth spending that kid of money on except for certain cherished acts from my youth (Michael, Whitney, George) who are sadly not here anymore.

^Exactly. Would be fantastic. Is there a better time for M to bring them back? They both still speak well of M to this day.
Do we know if it was Donna's choice to not continue touring with M? I know Niki said M threw her a baby shower around 2003 or so, and Niki participated on that tabloid/gossip show on M's men or whatever it was, and that may have peed off the Queen. Though that was a long time ago. And, as a co-writer, I imagine she had to approve N&D recording the "Rain" cover.
At the least, maybe invite them to the NYC shows or something. Gotta being back some of the nostalgia, in addition to the music. If M knows the kind of show fans want to see, then she knows that includes N&D. :)
August- yours was face value, I gather? The only way to go, really, for non-packages. Still can't get over that "platinum" nonsense.

I do find the difference in pricing in each city for the same seats quite interesting. I paid $895 per ticket for Pit 1 in Miami, which I think is good, considering I got tickets for Toronto, section 122 for about $600 each.

I wanna go but the tickets are too much. Probably because its MSG. I am not about to pay $500 for nosebleed seats.

Guys, could you post here if you see the Vanity Fair already available in the U.S., I’m assuming it would be Barnes & Noble. Thank you!

Since we are all in touring discussion mode...I thought I would mention my other pop diva I was obsessed with in the 80s / 90s, Belinda Carlisle.
Madonna and Belinda have some overlap in their background touring singers.
Donna DeLory toured with Belinda Carlisle in 1988 on the Good Heavens! Tour....exactly one year after she toured with Madonna in the Who's That Girl Tour.
Debra Parsons toured with Belinda Carlisle in 1990 on the Runaway Tour...and toured with Madonna as one of her three backup singers (with Niki and Donna) on the Who's That Girl Tour.

Speaking of Belinda, she’s making a comeback this year (new album and tour.) She is also featured on the new Diane Warren penned “Gotta Be You” along with Dolly Parton, Cyndi Lauper and Gloria Estefan. Interesting to compare and contrast these menopause mama’s to Madonna. Unlike M, it appears they’re much more receptive to embracing/celebrating their older age. God bless ‘em all! youtu.be/AeNkqcgfjMg

With the refund I picked Belinda. I had just turned or was turning 11. Memories….

Slim pickins in Tampa. Tho on Stubhub the tickets are cheaper than Ticketmaster. Looks almost sold out thk. Haven’t bought a ticket yet, but I could get Row C in Lower Level for around $550. Which isn’t bad.
All the tickets are resales. Ugh. The scalper issue has to be resolved. The Taylor fiasco didn’t really change anything here. Prices are so high omg. I mean…even her mere presence commands top dollar, but it’s kind of ridiculous. And this isn’t just about Madonna. I feel every concert by anyone is going to be like this.
