Already starting off with a perfect ranking! This was absolutely horrific. I agree- I figured it was gonna be bad, but I didn't realize it was going to be so utterly dreadful!

I've never been a fan of the original of "One Love" but Jo Dee's voice did not go with this song AT ALL! Happy to see it at the bottom, I do think there is another song that is even worse...
time for some more results! Up next 1 person loses a Top 10, and the song that spent nearly the entire submission time in last places leaves us!

there is nothing I can find redeemable to "Night Crawl". Very disappointed in this and glad it is out early. This and "One Love" were the only songs that were ever in these last two positions and they never escaped bottom 2! Though the next two songs were getting closer and closer to letting them get ahead. #17 has 147 points and #16 has 144 points. #15 has 123 points, so the bottom 4 ran away with the bottom placements!

You know, "Night Crawl" has grown on me immensely from what I first thought of it when I discovered it around the time of Jo Dee's singles rankdown... So you can imagine how much I must have hated it then for me to still rank it in last place now Tbh, I probably shouldn't have put "Night Crawl" in last place, looking at the list. Revisiting it now, I definitely think "One Love" is worse. Although I definitely don't have qualms about these being the bottom 2, regardless of the order they left in! Both are major dark spots on her usually-flawless career...

"Unbreakable" stays fantastic... I still don't understand why y'all hate it so much. Jo Dee and Alyssa's harmonies are so good!

This and "Night Crawl" went out in the opposite order of my rankings, but I'm glad to see those + "One Love" make up the bottom 3. All of them are awful.

I actually like "Night Crawl" and "One Love" lol
I detest "Unbreakable" though and think both her and Alyssa sound horrible.

Night Crawl is SO BAD. I laugh out loud while I listen to it, and not in a fun way like Biker Chick Chick Biker Chick Chick woooo.
Unbreakable is awful and I have never made it through the entire song. It makes me drowsy.
I thought One Love was OK.

sorry for the slow reveals, but I'm making sure to post at least one every night lol!
so happy "Bigger Than This" is out early because those lyrics are cringy af! I cannot get into it and honestly really hope that she doesn't stick with the gospel theme going forward though I have a feeling she may.
Tomorrow I may not be able to post at all so you all may have to wait until Friday but I will be finishing the reveals this weekend so expect a lot more reveals Friday night and Saturday night! Will try and finish this on Saturday actually!

I don't dislike "Bigger Than This", but I never crave to listen to it the way I do most of her other songs... Lmao. It's a pretty good song, but the production on all her recent Christian-themed songs is just so bland, faceless, and sterile. I don't expect "Reckless Love" to last much longer either.

"Will You Love Me" is one of those songs that I think would benefit from a studio recording... I think it has potential to be a great song, but this live recording is just frankly not her best work... Her voice sounds way more aged and haggard than it should at certain points in this song. And more instruments and production would help, for sure. I love the way the song builds, but it would be way more epic if it had a full band!
"Reckless Love" - Second what I said about "Bigger Than This"! It's a song that has potential to be really good, but the production is the epitome of bland... Mainstream Christian music in general is faceless and bland, and Jo Dee's voice is enough to elevate the song past most other contemporary Christian songs I have heard, but it is still just SO sterile...
"Carry Me" is a song that has taken me several listens to get into, and I can see why it never made an album. However, it is growing on me with every listen. It is leaving at a perfect time, imo. I'm glad to see it outlast everything that it has, but I wouldn't have wanted it to beat anything else, if that makes any sense. Lol
"Sharp Dressed Man" is, in general, a song that grooves hard! It would be really hard to make a bad version of this song, but Jo Dee definitely does not! Hers is quite cool, actually. I loved the guitar work!
Now, what's left? I'm going to predict "I'm A Survivor" will be the one to miss the top 10.

"Sharped Dressed Man" has a nice edgy groove to it.... but still, I'd only revisit it in small doses lol. Wasn't really digging many of the songs in this tbh

We are down to the Top 10! So far only "Reckless Love" has been eliminated for singles. Both of the unreleased tracks that were posted on her website shortly after the Unmistakable EP's release are hanging in and "When I Call Your Name" is the final cover remaining (well actually "Wishing Well" is a cover as well, since it was released after Jessica Andrews version). Also the two singles from the Unmistakable era that were not included on the EP's are hanging on. Lastly we have the song she released with the announcement that she was fighting cancer from two years ago in "Here". How will these songs fare in the Top 10? Also there are only 6 non-singles left, meaning only one of them will not be included in the Album Tracks rankdown, which one will fall first? ("Wishing Well", "You Belong In The Sun", "Destroy The Evidence", "Get Off That Train", "When I Call Your Name", "Here"). Aw man, I'm a little bummed that "Here" won't be in the album tracks rankdown. However, the 5 album tracks remaining all slay, so I can't be too upset!
"Here" is definitely the best song (to me) out of her more recent Christian-themed releases. This one took a little bit to grow on me, because again the bland production that has plagued her recent material, but it has managed to sneakily become a song that I love. Her vocal is dripping with emotion despite the faceless production, and the melody is way catchier than it seems at first. I'm glad it managed to make the top 10 here!

"Wishing Well", as fantastic as it is, is the song I was hoping would leave first from the Greatest Hits record. This feels like a perfect time for it to leave. Now, I don't think we'll see any more songs from Greatest Hits until at least the top 5!
