Ariana is one of the most streamed females on Spotify though. She has stream support to pull it off and I believe radio is very fond of her as well. A very high debut is not impossible. I think everybody need to "Fu-fu-focus" when it comes to AG. :) Oh and for a 'flop/buzz/so-bad-dropped-from-album' single, it only has 769 million views. With the right song, she definitely has a streaming/YouTube audience for a massive debut. |

People think "God's Plan" blocked "Finesse" from number one, but the fact that "Finesse" has yet to crack the top two means that it never would have dislodged "Perfect"...which would be at ten weeks on top now if not for Drake.

I suppose it is safe to say that the One Direction artists who debuted in the top 10 with their first single without ever having charted before, probably charted all together under the name "One Direction" prior to their solo debuts

This has been a pretty stagnant year, we are 13 weeks into the charting year and we have had the same 3-4 artists in the Top 10. Look at this real quick.
Drake: 3 Top 10 hits
Cardi B: 3 Top 10 hits (including Bodak Yellow)
Migos: 2 Top 10 hits
Kendrick Lamar: 2 Top 10 hits
Justin Timberlake: 2 Top 10 hits
We haven't even broken into March yet.

How did look alive’s projections increase so much wtf? I love that song but idk if I want it to kick rockstar out of the top5, rockstar needs at least 25 weeks there YouTube Insights was showing "Unknown Artist - Unknown Title" for Look Alive's numbers until Thursday. That’s a jab at blockboy |

Blockboy is so unknown that he doesn't even have his own wikipedia page yet, neither does his Top 10 hit. Drake's power is very real since he can drag any nobody from off the street and give them a Top 10 hit.

Kind of like how Lil Wayne was showing off all his artists at Young Money around 8 years ago, that's how Drake and Nicki Minaj got big. But before both those artists broke through, there was initial buzz surrounding them. I literally have never heard anything about Blockboy, it's such an odd thing. There was no buzz leading up to his breakthrough like with Drake and Nicki. |

I totally forgot about Billy Preston back in the 60s, I wouldn't have though of it because I always associate Get Back with the Beatles and not Billy Preston. He would be the first ever to debut in the top 10 with his first record. (This would also be the second song ever to debut in the top 10 at all)
