#15 sees another big standard deviation takes its bow, as we see the fourth-lowest standard deviation say its goodbyes here. This one struggled slightly out of the gate, but it picked up steam pretty quickly. It was in the 11-15 range for the last nine rankings, but though it did get to #11 once, it couldn't quite get over the hump and make the top ten.
All but four posters ranked this song in their top 50, and six of those rankings are top 25 rankings. We'll see three posters lose a top ten here, with one poster losing a top five ranking. One of the three top ten rankings will particularly not be happy about this reveal. While there are four non-top half rankings, none of them are even bottom 40 rankings.

Yeah, I tanked this a lot because it doesn't belong anywhere near Active. Still a great song though

Lol "When You Were Young" at #100. I see it was #93 on YE so that probably played a big part in that ranking.

#14 will see the fifteenth-highest standard deviation make its exit. Another song that had a slow start, gradually, this song kept crawling its way up the ranking. It would make the top 20 in the last four rankings, and it would reach the top 15 for the first and only time in the last ranking.
All but six posters will lose a top 50 ranking, and all but one of those thirteen top 50 rankings are top 25 rankings. Six posters will lose a top ten here, with three of those posters losing top fives. At least one poster will feel the sting of losing their #1 at this late stage of the rankdown. Of the low rankings, only two are bottom 30 rankings, but one is a pretty damn low one. In fact, it's not just a bottom ten...it's a bottom five.

So, someone just lost their #100...wouldn't it be crazy if they lost their #1 in the next reveal?

#13 was a contender for top ten early, but it actually struggled way more than I thought it would. This song was out of the top 20 for six rankings, a stat that doesn't seem crazy...but will after the song is revealed. Still, this song was in the top 15 for eight rankings, and it would be in said top 15 for the final three rankings, ending up here.
All but five posters ranked this particular song in their top half, with nine posters going for a top 20 ranking. One of those rankings will help a poster feel a little perfect. Six posters will lose top ten rankings, with four of those rankings being top fives. At least one poster will follow in the footsteps of rockman and rowell and lose a #1 just a few spots away from the top ten. Of the bottom rankings, only two are bottom 30 rankings, though one is a bottom 20 ranking...and a pretty low one.

Want another high SD with #12? No? Well, you're getting it, anyway. This is the song with the 17th highest standard deviation. This particular song was only below the top 15 twice. It was a contender for top ten early and often. It's actually kind of interesting how this has such a high SD, despite never really being in danger of being out of the top 20 at any point.
Let's start with the bottom first. Three of the four posters who ranked this in their bottom half ranked this song in their bottom 30. Only one of those posters ranked this song in their bottom 20, but it's not a particularly low bottom 20. Of the top half rankings, ten are top 25 rankings (one bringing someone some perfection), and seven are top ten rankings. Even crazier, all but one of the top ten rankings are top five rankings. Is there a #1 loss? We'll see...

And finally, we have reached the last stop before the top ten, #11. #11 was not close to #10, with the gap between the two being over 60 points. It's also the song with the 12th highest standard deviation. This was another song that never went below the top 15. In fact, this song was in the top ten more times than it wasn't. Ultimately, though, the last ranking was the one that mattered, sending this song spiraling out of the top ten for good.
All but four posters placed this song in their top 40, and all but five posters ranked this song in their top 25. Only five of those rankings are top ten rankings, but two are top five rankings. The four outliers all ranked this song in their bottom thirty, with one poster going as far as to rank it in their bottom ten.

25. Waking Up - 10 YearsOne of their better songs, but still not a bulls eye. If it sounded a bit more like Crossfade; I would like it more. 24. Rapture - HurtThis one doesn't exactly scream "party rock" to me. Good vocals tho. 23. Every Day is Exactly the Same - Nine Inch NailsThis did nothing for me on an Active Rock list. 22. I Dare You - ShinedownGreat song. Discography-wise. One of their best. 21. Tears Don't Fall - Bullet For My ValentineKinda surprised you guys upgraded it, but I'm glad you did. 20. Through the Iris - 10 YearsI have a feeling this guy's vocals would sound stronger on a faster type rock song? 19. Beast and the Harlot - Avenged SevenfoldThis one is massive. Always liked this one, but it had sounded better to me with each passing year. Why can't this band sound like this anymore? 18 and 17 Two good Foo Fighter songs. You never hear these on the radio anymore. I like them enough, but I knew they would underpreform on this list. 16. When You Were Young - The KillersSuch an awesome song. I knew the Killers would end up high. Even on an Active Rock list. 15. Miss Murder - AFII guess it kinda makes sense, since it's not the Alt rankdown, but this is still a monster classic to me. 14. The Diary of Jane - Breaking BenjaminShame on pulse, for managing to keep ;the best ,ever, Breaking Benjamin song, out of the top 10. 13. Hole in the Earth - DeftonesI could easily say this is my favorite Deftones song. 12. Image of the Invisible - ThriceSo there was life before "Black Honey"? I didn't really care for it. 11. Hypnotize - System of a DownThis was just all over the place. I did upgraded one of their songs on the next Alt rankdown.

- What songs in the top ten surprise you?"Dani California" Great song, but I didn't think it would be strong enough on the Active list. The music video is pure Rock n Roll tho. - What songs are you disappointed to not see in the top ten?Considering this is Active rock. "Animals", "Diary Of Jayne" and "Stricken" - Who will lose their bottom ten last, Az, Doc, or Sam?All three of us at the same time. maybe Its the same stupid song (s) - Care to predict the top ten? Or, at the very least, the #1?More like wishful thinking, but I would rejoicing with "Woman" or even "Bat Country" Now back to celebration. Tonight beers at 7 pesos. That's less than a dollar to you guys, so Doc has checked out for the night.

- What songs in the top ten surprise you? Welcome Home, because I thought it would have more detractors, and Joker and the Thief, because rgreen would tank it for not doing well on the charts. Really glad Wings of a Butterfly managed to sneak in though. Not complaining at all that these three songs made it as they are all great.
- What songs are you disappointed to not see in the top ten? Image of the Invisible and Hole in the Earth. Rapture too, but I knew it would be divisive.
- Who will lose their bottom ten last, Az, Doc, or Sam? I say Doc and Sam lose their bottom 10 at the same time when one of the Tool songs go out.
- Care to predict the top ten? Or, at the very least, the #1?
I'm pulling for Tool, Wolfmother and HIM but I think Stone Sour double repeats as winner.
10. Joker and the Thief 9. Welcome Home 8. Wings of a Butterfly 7. Bat Country 6. Woman 5. Wasteland 4. Dani California 3. The Pot 2. Vicarious 1. Through Glass

- What songs in the top ten surprise you? Dani California is the main one, I thought more people would tank it (very glad to see it there though!) - What songs are you disappointed to not see in the top ten? Through The Iris and Lonely Day have both been growing on me more and more with every listen. It's very surprising to see Thrice miss the top 10, I thought they were a lock there. - Who will lose their bottom ten last, Az, Doc, or Sam? I have no idea, maybe Doc? - Care to predict the top ten? Or, at the very least, the #1? 10. Dani California 9. Bat Country 8. Wings of a Butterfly 7. Woman 6. Welcome Home 5. Joker and the Thief 4. Wasteland 3. Vicarious 2. Through Glass 1. The Pot
