J Cole - Power Trip 7 weeks at 21 in 2013 (although it didn't peak there -- got to 19)

All this Drake slayage reminds me that hopefully he gets Artist of the Year this time on the year-end! Pretty unfair how he lost it in 2016, with Adele's 8 million sales in 2015 counting for the 2016 year despite Views doing 2x more units than any other album in the *actual* 2016 calendar year. Adele deserved it 2015, with Drake deserving it in 2016. He did win Artist of the Year though at the last Billboard Music Awards (the period of which ran roughly March 2016 to March 2017). As for the lowest number of Hot 100 debuts, I'm pretty sure there was at least one week when the Hot 100 didn't have any debuts. I'm not exactly sure when though, tried to look it up but couldn't find it, but I think it was sometime in the 2000s.

Filthy is already off the charts wow It was fly or fail - definitely a risky record. I'm just not sure who (or how many) thought it was going to fly before releasing it. I wonder if this was the song Pharrell(?) was referring to when he was shown saying "this is a smash" or whatever. I've tried and tried, and it's become listenable at best.

I think Supplies was the song that Pharrell was referring. Filthy was produced by Timbaland & Danja.

AND the highest debut on Billboard 200 that week was #29. A very very dead week.

^ Well, the tracking period was mostly the first week of January, which is traditionally THE deadest week of the year.
I also noticed that week that Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Taylor, Katy, and Britney were all in the top ten! A showcase of this generation's divas in their prime!

01-17-09 had re-entries, is there a week with no re-entries/debuts?
