SD is the better of the 2 but I don’t see either one being a hit; hopefully these are just used as promo tracks.

I'm a bit surprised that Checklist is the one performing better at the moment. It's also the one that got added to TTH, and I don't necessarily think that was Normani's team pushing for that add.
They both feel very international, for lack of a better word. I could see one or both songs doing very well overseas (and for that reason alone I disagree that her team doesn't know what to do with her, I just think they either didn't prioritize American success for these songs or they chose to take a gamble on the sound). For the US...I dunno. They're oddly hard to pin down with neither song sounding on trend with anything happening in mainstream music right now, but OTOH them both being catchy enough that maybe one or the other could take off with a heavy push. But the rollout is oddly lowkey which makes me think they're hedging their bets a bit.

It took me a few listens but I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I like these tracks. SD is the superior track and is the perfect autumn jam alongside Mariah's Distance. I agree with the above that these songs sound VERY international and I think they will do well overseas. As for the US, I think she could have a hit with one with a dope music video and promo performances. She is such a talent and deserves it.
I think they will come harder for her solo single but this is just a appetizer.
