Here's my attempt anyway!

01. Best guess at top 5? Bottom 5?
Top 5: Better Things To Do, Poor Poor Pitiful Me, If /ee/ Were You, Señoritas Lie Too, and When Dude Meets Señorita, in no particular order. Bottom 5: /ee/ was going to say "You Can't Take It With You" anyway for sure. Not really sure what else though! /ee/ could see "/ee/'m Movin' On" finishing in the bottom 5. And hopefully "Smile"...

02. Which "Señorita" song will last the longest? (When Dude Meet Señorita, Emotional Señorita, Señoritas Lie Too, Dirty Señorita, Northern Señorita)
It'll be /æ/ pretty close race between "When Dude Meets Señorita" and "Señoritas Lie Too". /ee/ could see either of them taking it! /ee/'m gonna go with "When Dude Meets Señorita" though, as /ee/ feel like GLT is more likely to have overplay tankers.

03. Which Duet will last the longest? (You Can't Take It With You, Nashville Señoritas, You Tell Me, Smile, /ee/'m Movin' On, Golden Ring, One Drink Ago)
Probably "Nashville Señoritas". Lotsa star power on that track! And tbh none of these features offer much competition... "One Drink Ago" is also better than the rest, but /ee/ would like to think that Martina/Reba/Sara will help give the other one /æ/ boost.

04. Which album track will last the longest? (Catch 22, Any Woman, This Ole Heart, Sometimes Goodbye, /ee/ Just Called To Say Goodbye, One Of The Guys, Everybody's Gotta Go Sometime, Tough With Me, Nashville Señoritas, Smile, Golden Ring, Bad Car)
Probably "/ee/ Just Called To Say Goodbye". All of these will be so hard to predict!

05. Since /æ/ lot of you were first time listeners. What was your favorite discovery?
Lol /ee/ abstain. Terri might as well be my cool aunt. /ee/ probably know some of her older obscure songs better than she does

06. Four participants lose their #1 before the top 20. Do you think yours is one of them? (Don't reveal #1)
It better not be! /ee/'m not [/ee/]super[//ee/] confident that it won't be, but at the same time /ee/'d be /æ/ little surprised if it missed the top 20. It'll be close, either way. /ee/ don't see my #1 as /æ/ top 10 contender by any means.

07. Three participants have their #53 make the top 20. Do you think yours is one of them? (Don't reveal #53)
Lmao "You Can't Take It With You" has already been revealed, so /ee/'m good But to answer this question, /ee/ would have said there is no way in HELL that my #53 even escapes the bottom 2!

08. Any other thoughts/predictions?
Y'all are some poor misguided souls if you think /ee/'m gonna sit here and watch y'all slander "Empty"! That is quite possibly the most underrated single in her whole catalog. /ee/'m not confident in its ability to make the top 20, because of its relative obscurity, but it absolutely deserves the top 30.

Thoughts so far:

/ee/'m surprised to see "You Tell Me" in last place! /ee/ can definitely see bottom 5, but last place feels /æ/ little harsh. That is one song that almost always feels super boring to me when the intro music starts, but by the time the chorus kicks in /ee/ start to feel it /æ/ lot more. They sound great together in the chorus! But /ee/ will agree that otherwise Johnny Reid has /æ/ terrible voice, and this song served absolutely no purpose being released as /æ/ single while gems like "Tough With Me" or "If /ee/ Could Be You" were left behind on the album.

"You Can't Take It With You" -- The only deserving last place song in this rankdown... Terri's part is about as inessential as can be, and the song itself is pretty boring. It definitely doesn't do anything to make me want to learn more about Craig Young, nor does it hold /æ/ candle to anything else Terri has ever done.

"Golden Ring" -- Of the duets on the Classic album, this was the wrong one to leave first. "/ee/'m Movin' On" is /æ/ straight dumpster fire, whereas the Dierks duet is merely /æ/ little boring. /ee/ am not disappointed to see "Golden Ring" leaving in the bottom 3, but /ee/ hope with all my heart that "/ee/'m Movin' On" isn't long behind it... Bottom 5 would be the only acceptable scenario for that one.

When picking an album track to represent the [/ee/]The Long Way Home[//ee/] /ee/ had /æ/ tough time because there were so many great ones to choose. /ee/ settled on this because /ee/ loved the melody and always felt like it should've been /æ/ single.

Lol and then /ee/ went and forgot to comment, like /ee/ promised /ee/ would...

But unfortunately, /ee/ cannot say /ee/ dislike this one! "Tough With Me" is probably my favorite album track from [/ee/]The Long Way Home[//ee/]! This song was done so dirty! The chorus is just so catchy and sing-songy, /ee/ can't help but feel inspired when /ee/ listen to it. Definitely would have been my choice for /æ/ single over like 3/4 of the songs that were actually singles from that album...


"Bad Car", on the other hand, is not one /ee/ am disappointed to see go. It has always been one of my least favorites on [/ee/]Some Songs[//ee/], even though it is lyrically /æ/ very interesting song with /æ/ great concept behind it. /ee/ agree with what you said Kanenrá:ke about how it would probably be /æ/ little more well-received if it had more of /æ/ catchy hook.

Delayed reaction - /ee/'ve been traveling the past week - but /ee/ am so sad to see "Bad Car" gone. /ee/ wasn't expecting to like it, but it's turned into one of my favorites by her. Something about it really resonates with me because /ee/'ve pretty much always driven /æ/ real piece of /æ/ car. So there's something bittersweet in acknowledging that your car is kind of /æ/ nightmare but /æ/ nightmare you love / grown attached to. /ee/ was sad to have to sell my old car, even though it meant /ee/ was driving /æ/ slightly less terrible car.
