I submitted my list yesterday and it was hard! I genuinely enjoy every single he's released at least a little bit.

I genuinely enjoy every single he's released at least a little bit. It was SUPER hard for me, and I know it was for at least a couple of other people who has told me the same thing!

I’ve been wanting to do this but I don’t have a way of doing it until Friday night or Saturday. I’m sorry I’m going to miss out on this one.

1. What will finish at #1? Probably "Whiskey Lullaby", although I'd love for something else to have a chance... "He Didn't Have To Be" would also be a perfect winner in terms of the impact it had on both Brad's career and the country music landscape. Oooo, also "Letter To Me"!!! 2. What will finish at #43? Probably one of his more modern forgotten songs like "Heaven South" or "I Can't Change The World". 3. What will have the highest standard deviation (most polarizing)? I'm gonna guess "Online" will be pretty high. Also "Then". Although it is very difficult to guess, because Brad is one of those artists where almost every song could be polarizing. His songs are very consistent in quality and theme, so I expect almost every song to have really high ranks and really low ranks. 4. What will have the least standard deviation (least polarizing)? We'll probably lose some low SDs towards the beginning of the rankdown with songs like "Heaven South". Otherwise, see my above answer about why SDs are hard to predict for Brad. 5. Other songs you expect to do well/poorly? "I'm Still A Guy" will probably do more poorly than it should, simply because of how terribly the lyrical content has held up in the modern world. Melodically and production-wise it has a lot going for it, but those lyrics... Lol. Overall I expect the first half of Brad's career to do better than the second half. 6. Which album will survive the longest without losing a song (Well, Play only had one single so maybe excluding that one)? Either Mud On The Tires or Time Well Wasted. 5th Gear should do really well too and have songs that last into the top 5, but I think some of the sillier songs from that album like "Ticks" might fall before some of his sillier songs from the early albums like "Celebrity". 7. Will any of his 2010s material reach the top 10? Nope! The 2000s will offer too much competition. Hell, I expect him to even still have a '90s song remaining by the time the entire second half of his career has been eliminated... ("He Didn't Have To Be") 8. Any other predictions/thoughts/random comments if you have any? This is "Whiskey Lullaby"'s battle to lose, but tbh I would LOVE for it to lose... It is definitely an amazing song, but something like "Letter To Me" or "He Didn't Have To Be" were so much more important for his career. Many of his iconic uptempos like "Celebrity" would make awesome winners too, but I honestly don't think they will be able to beat some of the big ballads. It is worth nothing that every time "Whiskey Lullaby" wins rankdowns it always seems to make about half the participants mad, so there is always the possibility that it will succumb to rankdown overexposure/fatigue. Meaning people will be tired of it winning, and subconsciously rank it lower. I am not advocating revenge-tanking or anything, and I definitely still ranked the song fairly myself, but I do think that is a possibility that could affect the outcome here. However, it is also worth noting that Sara Evans as an artist is a major rankdown force, and "Suds In The Bucket" is one of her most beloved songs, yet WL was able to run away with a victory against her in the 2004 rankdown... And while Martina is less of a rankdown force, "Independence Day" is the best-scoring song out of all country rankdown winners by a hefty margin, and yet WL was also able to squeak out a victory against that one in the CMA rankdown. I don't really see anything else from Brad's career putting up the type of fight that "Suds" or "Independence Day" would in a rankdown. So theoretically this one might be easier for "Whiskey Lullaby" to win! Can't wait to see how this plays out

1. What will finish at #1? Probably "Whiskey Lullaby." I like the song but it's definitely overrated. I was half-tempted to rank it last place on my list just to help tank it, but I do like it, so I couldn't bring myself to do it, lol. 2. What will finish at #43? "I Can't Change the World" 3. What will have the highest standard deviation (most polarizing)? Something like "I'm Still a Guy" or "Southern Comfort Zone." 4. What will have the least standard deviation (least polarizing)? Probably "Whiskey Lullaby" at the top. 5. Other songs you expect to do well/poorly? I think his debut era will do really well, plus everything from "Whiskey Lullaby" through "Waitin' on a Woman" and "Remind Me" because of Carrie Underwood. OTOH, I think "Crushin' It," "The Mona Lisa," and "Camouflage" are all gonna flop. 6. Which album will survive the longest without losing a song (Well, Play only had one single so maybe excluding that one)? 5th Gear is usually regarded as him at his like commercial peak, so I think that one will survive the longest without losing anything. 7. Will any of his 2010s material reach the top 10? "Remind Me" seems like the best bet. Maybe "Old Alabama." 8. Any other predictions/thoughts/random comments if you have any? "When I Get Where I'm Going" had better AT LEAST make the Top 10 or heads will roll imo.

You probably don't know this, but "She's Everything" only made it to #32 in the 2006 country rankdown I wouldn't feel confident picking it to even be a top 10 contender in this rankdown... Which sucks, because I love the song too! I'm with you in hoping Pulse can redeem itself with that one!

I always thought the song was much more praised than that (in the pulse community at least). Well, in that case, I hope to see “When I Get Where I’m Going” in the top 2. I love WIGWIG just as much as SE, so ranking them was super difficult!

WIGWIGLmao I love that abbreviation But WIGWIG made it to #9 in that same rankdown, so that should definitely give it a shot at the top 10 in this one, maybe even the top 5! It'll depend on whether the competition in Brad's top 10 proves to be stiffer or easier than the competition in the 2006 top 10. It should at least do better than "She's Everything" (Hopefully that one is at least in the top 15...)

"She's Everything" is super meh, especially compared to most of his output, so if I have anything to do with it, it won't come anywhere near the Top 2, lol.

1. What will finish at #1?- I think "Whiskey Lullaby" has got this in the bag...again! Honestly I'd like to see something else win for a change. Maybe "We Danced", "He Didn't Have to Be" or "Mud on the Tires" could do it? I'd be happy with an upbeat single winning it. 2. What will finish at #43?- Either "I Can't Change the World" or "Heaven South". 3. What will have the highest standard deviation (most polarizing)?- I can see "Camouflage", "Crushin' It", "River Bank", and more of his uptempos being very polarizing. 4. What will have the least standard deviation (least polarizing)?- "She's Everything" and "Perfect Storm" to name a few. Possibly "When I Get Where I'm Going" also. 5. Other songs you expect to do well/poorly?- I hope "Celebrity", "Little Moments", and "Me Neither" can make the top 20. 6. Which album will survive the longest without losing a song (Well, Play only had one single so maybe excluding that one)?- I think Mud on the Tires will last the longest; in fact, I'm anticipating one of the singles from that album to win. Either that ot Time Well Wasted. 7. Will any of his 2010s material reach the top 10?- Hmm, having a hard time seeing more than one song doing so, but I wouldn't completely count it out yet. "Remind Me" seems like an easy top 10 contender at least. 8. Any other predictions/thoughts/random comments if you have any?- This was insanely hard to rank imo! The only songs I didn't really care for were in my bottom five. Can't wait to see how everything turns out!

Pretty much agree with most of the predictions already made. I definitely think a Mud on the Tires single or "He Didn't Have to Be" is going to win this. I hope "Whiskey Lullaby" doesn't get hit with low ranks just to tank it, because it really doesn't belong anywhere below Top 3.
But gosh, I'm probably the highest ranker for "I Can't Change the World"...

I'm probably the highest ranker for "I Can't Change the World"... I probably ranked it higher lmao... It’s underrated tbh. I love the production and instrumentation (especially the steel guitar parts). I didn’t include it in my top 20 or anything, but it def deserves more than being ranked last imo.
