I agree with IndulgeCountry, "Outrageous" massively overstayed it's welcome. It sounds like R. Kelly trying to ape the Neptunes and just making a generic 2003/2004 lite-crunk track instead.

IMHO, the weakest on a near perfect album full of songs that are light years beyond generic and basic.


Also R. Kelly is an alleged pedophile and deserves to be investigated.

Yup, Outrageous is probably her most over-criticized single for me.

The bland and tepid TOMH shouldn't have been anywhere near the top 5, let alone actually in it.

IDK why I gravitate toward 'Outrageous' so much out of the ITZ singles, but I think it was the Junior Vasquez and Bill Hamel remixes that sold me on 'Touch Of My Hand'.

Definitely gravitate towards “Outrageous” when it comes to the In the Zone singles. It’s not her best by any means, but it’s far from her worst. I can think of several other singles in her discography that deserve the criticism that this one gets.

Track #8, Touch Of My Hand is a very sensual song lyrically about self-pleasure, it was the first song written for the album as well. IMO it's a top favorite cause I love the smooth instrumentation and lyricism. Britney has gone on to perform this particular track from ITZ a lot, as it was apart of the Onyx Hotel, Circus, & Piece Of Me shows.

Track #12 and the 3rd single is an angelic ballad and one of the earliest songs written primarily by Britney herself. Considered a response to ex boyfriend JT's "Cry Me A River", the song was  pretty big hit internationally and is easily her most recognizable slow ballad. IMO it's the most beautiful and angelic song in Britney's catalog as it's focused on her beautiful soft voice with minimalist production and great lyrics.

Sad to see TOMH leave, but for it to make it to #4 is still great. Glove Slap has no taste, though.

I'm with Glove Slap on this one. TOMH has no business in the top 5. I would have accepted like a #10 spot but #4 is a bit much.

I really enjoy "Everytime" but I am generally here more for a Britney bop than a ballad but I can't deny that "Everytime" is probably her best ballad which is why it landed at #7 for me.
