Finally I can post in this thread again, didn't wanna double post lmao No song is currently close to 52 weeks for the first time in a while (you can thank the Christmas bomb for that). Not counting Lucid Dreams OTR is the current closest, but there's a real chance it won't survive the next 2 weeks of the Christmas onslaught. If it's able to hang on though then the Grammy's boost it'll get in a few weeks would probably be enough to help it reach 52. Bad Guy I think will almost certainly get there since it's still near the top 20 and will also benefit from the Grammy's. Outside of that, Someone You Loved will probably get there at the rate it's been going (barring a sudden collapse), Senorita I thought would've been a good candidate but it's collapsed pretty hard the last few weeks so I'm not sure about that anymore, and besides that that's really all we got for now. Wouldn't be surprised to see Circles get there eventually but it's way too early for that one. I was figuring that you were waiting on a chance to respond without double posting . Yes, I agree that there aren't really any songs that are super close to 52 weeks. I'm curious to see how Bad Guy and Someone You Loved hold up and whether OTR can survive the Christmas onslaught as well. As far as anything else, it's going to take some time before we see if there are any contenders among posty songs or Memories or anything else like that.

Lucid Dreams is a huge wildcard, obviously it's gonna keep falling fast but the departure of the Christmas songs might help it stay in the top 50 just long enough to hit 52

I can see "Lucid Dreams" somehow getting to 52 weeks, with the Christmas songs disappearing again and songs rising again.

Talk doesn't have very long to go but i think it will go recurrent before hitting 52 weeks. Bad Guy almost guaranteed to hit 52 weeks, not sire about 53 though. Sucker & Someone You Loved looking likely but definirely not guaranteed

^Someone You Loved is very likely to make it. A Scorpion-level album bomb could make it go recurrent but if radio for it doesn't drop too quickly, it should otherwise drop slowly in the Hot 100 and could even have a chance to make it past 52 weeks.

Can't see OTR making it anymore sadly with that massive drop, and bad guy went from being almost certain to now being a tossup

This new UGC rule is making the whole situation change alot. Old Town Road & Bad Guy, both almost guaranteed to hit 52 weeks before, probably won't make it (with Bad Guy being a maybe). I doubt Talk will make it either, probably will get knocked out by a album bonb. At this point, Someone You Loved is looking the most likely to make it

I hate that OTR probably wont even survive to next week, and bad guy will probably have a steady decline and fall out 40-45 weeks in

Suge will fall off this upcoming week (1/25). OTR and Talk may also fall off this week, but if they don't, they will for sure fall off on 2/1. Sucker, I Don't Care, and Bad Guy may fall off on 2/1.

Wow! I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for some of you to see "bad guy" and "Old Town Road" very unlikely to make it to 52 weeks now, while "Someone You Loved" is nearly guaranteed get there and even break the 25/52 rule...
Lucky for me I actually quite enjoy that song, so my disappointment for "bad guy" and OTR has a silver lining... (*runs away)

Next week will shake up our list of contenders once again with the potential Halsey/Mac Miller/Eminem triple album bomb. "Talk", "bad guy", and "I Don't Care" are the most likely to leave.

Not as lkely as the other two, but i do think it has a chance

Rooting for "bad guy", "Someone You Loved", "Trampoline", "Panini", and "Ballin". It's hard to believe the latter has been on the charts for so long when its peak was still fairly recent.
Potential contenders for 52+ weeks also include "Circles" (hopefully), "Memories", and "10,000 Hours", even if it's a bit too early to tell just yet.

Looking at that list, I don’t see how any of them except “Someone You Loved” has a good chance at getting to 52. I guess anything’s possible and I’m not sure if there are any huge releases poised to clean out the chart
