I actually adore most of BEP's singles, just not "Boom Boom Pow" or "Imma Be" (or "Meet Me Halfway", for that matter). But "I Gotta Feeling", "Rock That Body", "Just Can't Get Enough", "My Humps", "Where Is the Love?", "Let's Get It Started", "Pump It", "Shut Up", "Mas Que Nada", "Don't Lie", "Hey Mama"... all my jams.
Oh but I forgot about "The Time (Dirty Bit)". I loathe that song with a passion.

Speaking of BEP, "Meet Me Halfway" was the best single out of that album.

I don’t think that’s right. It’s listed as a format being removed from it, most likely Urban AC as it’s not listed on its format list anymore, although it it still top 10 there.

I love Black Eyed Peas. Even though I Gotta Feeling is repetitive, it's such a feel-good song and the instrumental sounds amazing. Where is the Love? definitely felt like a #1, it hit #1 everywhere else in the world, but it was their breakthrough hit and they've been making hits since.
Those two are decade defining hits in my opinion.

Where Is The Love is probably the only BEP song I can stand today. Mostly because of this: I loved this performance. Ariana sounds amazing singing the chorus of "Where is the Love?"

If we’re talking worst number one songs ever, Boom Boom Pow is not even close. “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini”, “We Built This City”, “I’m Too Sexy”, “Butterfly”, and “This is Why I’m Hot” are all above Boom Boom Pow. Even Milli Vanilli’s “Blame It On The Rain” can be put in there possibly. It does bother me that Boom Boom Pow and Imma Be are number one rather than their better songs like Where is the Love. We Built This City is hands down the most overhated song to ever exist. I'm not gonna say it's good but it has an ok chorus and the Starship guy is a better singer than most other cheesy 80's singers. It's just such a normal, random song to go after, it's like if everyone decided Want To Want Me by Jason Derulo was all of a sudden the worst song ever (the first kinda average 5/10 song I thought of) and mentioning it as comparable to the worst number 1 hits ever just doesn't make any sense considering Akon's I Wanna Fuck You hit #1. I also never minded Butterfly but I at least get that one, if you wanted to make a list of the most ridiculous #1's that one might have a serious shot at #2 behind the goddamn Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas Song (#1 in 1958 look it up)

Speaking of BEP, "Meet Me Halfway" was the best single out of that album. I agree. Ranked: Meet Me Halfway Boom Boom Pow Imma Be Rock That Body GAP I Gotta Feeling And the 2008 top 10 since people are talking about it: Sexy Can I (My favorite, I still listen to this a lot, as well as 4 Minutes) 4 Minutes No Air GAP With You Lollipop Love Song Touch My Body Love In This Club GAP Low (Was never too fussed about this, but it sounds good in a club for sure, and it's a perfect song to branch between the mid-00s crunk/R&B phase with T-Pain and the dance-pop craze with Flo Rida, and with the song being kind of in-between the two musically) GAP Bleeding Love (I never understood why everybody loved this song so much, I found it boring, and I think it's slightly similar to Say It Right which is a lot better. Leona's best song is Forgive Me imo)

styles change over time
so does the method of how a song becomes a hit
Today all you need for a hit is to be pals with Drake, or rap a bunch of profanity and have a criminal record
For the Singing Nun it was all about the Ed Sullivan show

Billboard Top 10 Flashback: April 19, 200801 01 Touch My Body - Mariah Carey (2nd and final week at #1)03 03 4 Minutes - Madonna feat. Justin Timberlake I didn't realize that Mariah and Madonna both had their last big hits right at the same time. Both had at least one more new song hit the top ten ("Obsessed" and "Give Me All Your Luvin") and Mariah has been more successful since overall (with AIWFCIY also finally making the top ten and reappearing every year), but 2008 really was their last hurrah as major commercial forces with new singles.

I'd think that'd be interesting, and I'd love to hear the opinion of worst #1 from someone who actually has.
