This Is America is predicted to sell 94,000 digital sales across the U.S. iTunes platform on it's debut week. Streaming stands at #2 on Apple Music, likely to go to #1 but NFW likely does have a big advantage only as album bombs can break for two to five days before NFW would take back the top spot, so no shocker on streaming. However, YouTube looks to be the big outlier for Childish Gambino this time as he is now up to nearly 39 million views globally on YouTube since his release of the MV on SUNDAY! Gambino should hit 50M by Thursday morning. This is why I as well as others in our predictions of 5/19/18 have moved TIA up to #1. Fairly confident of a strong debut (#1 or #2 at this time). TIA is performing much like NTLTC did a few weeks ago, however, Gambino does have more streams and has a slight advantage over her for YouTube plays as well as his video went, "viral" and continues to rack up another 15-20 million views A DAY, which is extreme for Donald's likely standards for this single. However, a powerful music video showing a black male getting shot and killed while simply playing a guitar is quite shocking, another powerful motive of the MV is that Donald shoots an entire gospel choir, (likely showing what Dylann Roof did to innocent African Americans at a church in Charleston back in 2015). This is exactly why the video is viral and exactly why, 'This Is America' will likely debut at the top spot replacing Drake after a nearly historic fifteen week rule at the top spot of the charts.

The SNL performance is labeled 'Music' on YouTube. Will those views count? Not that it's a ton, but it should get over 3 million views for the week.

"TIA" now over 39 million views on YouTube, though of course that's a worldwide total. I would think most views are from the U.S. though? Does Childish Gambino have an international presence?
It certainly feels like "TIA" is the song with the greatest general impact/presence this week, so it would be cool to see it #1. Yes, that is a personal viewpoint, but considering all of the various sources covering the song, it's a fairly objective one, too.

TIA should debut easily at the top of hot100. No.1 on itunes, spotify and youtube and apple music no.2 may eventually go no.1 tomorrow.

Why in the nine hells is that mediocre Kane Brown song rising to #15? "You Make It Easy", "Marry Me" and even Brown's own "What Ifs" (a far better song) couldn't get that high.
