It's funny how Drake is mostly American phenomenon, in global Spotify he has two songs in Spotify top ten, #3 and #5, so it's not problematic everywhere. Maybe USA and Canada will get tired of him someday

It's pretty crazy how Drake is still reaching his peak almost a decade into his career.
That's pretty unprecedented for a rapper. They do not have the longevity of pop/rockstars.
He's probably the 2nd biggest ever rapper in America at this point, after Eminem already.

Did you guys know that The Black Eyed Peas released two songs this year.
They're actually like... really good.
Total 180 degree turn from what they're known for.

He's probably the 2nd biggest ever rapper in America at this point, after Eminem already. Lil Wayne broke out in 99 and had his peak in 08. So the same as Drake, but 10 years earlier. Jay-Z broke out in 96 but had his peak in 09-10. Eminem broke out in 99 and arguably had his peak in 2010. So if anything, it's actually kinda common for GOAT tier rappers. And I'd say that Drake's surpassed everybody in 2016. I'd put Jay second. And Em third.

I expect whether positive or negative reviews given on I'm Upset it will still have a strong debut. Especially once it is released on streaming services in fifteen. Reviews are coming in based on just listens on sales from iTunes and YouTube right now. 5 full days of streaming, I expect decent, but not good first week sales (30-50k) and airplay should be actually horrible for the first week. Expect 30 to 40 million streams. Maybe more. So it should have enough for a top 5 debut, maybe #1. Still way too early to tell. Would help if an MV was released and it would for sure seal a #1 debut. But we all know Drake only blows up after a release. So a week 2 slot to #1 is almost certain. No 1 looks impossible this week with Psycho going psycho on radio

Looking at latest numbers and Nice For What still has very solid advantage on streaming for Psycho to overtake it.

I think I'm Upset is a good song and better than Nice For What. I agree with hot100predictions that it is a grower. I hope it can hit #1 but I also want Pyscho to hit #1 so I'll just sit back and see what happens.

If Things are going the way that they are right now Drake will debut at #1 once again on the 6/9 charts.

I Had These Lucid Dreams.... What is everyone's thoughts on Lucid Dreams? It is CLIMBING on Spotify, up to #6 now in the U.S. racking up 1.6 million streams on the daily and with his new mixtape/album that was released on Wednesday, that late boost should either help on this upcoming week chart (6/2) or next week's chart (6/9). But Lucid Dreams is looking to take the, 'I Fall Apart' route, with lower top 20 position peak looking likely at this point. And let's be honest every song will be cut off for at least a week or two with Scorpion being released so Top 20 sounds good.

You Probably Think You Are Better Now.... And what's everyone's thoughts lastly on Better Now? I mean it's holding up on Spotify in the Top 5 and if Post releases an MV and makes this a single. He can easily challenge for a Top 10 rebound on Billboard. It's simple, oh and also airplay, something that Psycho is finally getting now.
Oh and Psycho is going to #1 or #2 on the 6/9 chart. I agree with kanfad that a #3 debut seems a certain for I'm Upset, unless he opens up with eye-opening numbers with this one, which I highly doubt, I know it will debut #1 on Spotify and Apple Music today but it will need some airplay numbers this week. So #1 on the 6/9 chart looks likely, with Psycho AGAIN behind at #2. I really want Psycho to go to #1 too because I love that song so much. And it is actually a really good summer song, and I remember first hearing that song when I was playing Fortnite in late February hahahahahah. Memories.

I have never heard Lucid Dreams but Better Now is great and everyone I know is going crazy over it. It is confirmed to be the next pop single after Pyscho so a music video is likely. I hope Pyscho can hit #1.
A few hours ago I'm Upset was #3 on Apple Music although it's down to #4. It will likely go #1 once the rest of the west coast wakes up.

Lucid Dreams is apparently the new hot Hip-Hop song. I don't understand the hype though, the song isn't that great.

Yeah, Jay peaked in 99, Em peaked around 2001/2002 She wasnt speaking strictly in terms of critical reception. More like popularity and chart performance

Wow at Sangria Wine debuting around #95. Not very good at all. I think they should just release She Loves Control and move on from that.

I don't mind seeing "Nice for What" back at #1, but "God's Plan" back at #2 is jarring, can we not?
Also nice to see that "Mine" is still holding up nicely, I haven't given up hope yet.

Arguable for Em, since he had two Diamond albums with 1M+ opening weeks in 2000-2002 and also one of the biggest rap songs ever, Lose Yourself in ‘03. Jay-Z only had his song peak in 09-10 but the album he released only went Platinum. In 98-03 all of his albums would go 2x-5x platinum.
