Delicate might enter top 20 at best, but I am happy because Taylor is happy. She got a #1, a top 10, and two top 20 singles out of reputation and she kept the promo very low-key. I like that she's avoiding the 2014-2015 TS oversaturation. Yeah, from rep she got the weakest multi-wk number one of all time, and one of the weakest top 10s along with extremely weak top20s I really wouldn’t be happy if I were her, especially considering the gargantuan numbers 1989 put up *has the best selling album of 2017 including a number one debuting song that sold 300k+ first week which no one did and Her fourth album to open with more than a million* *wouldnt be if I were her* |

RS sounds more mainstream and universal.
In my opinion, this showcases that CHR is now more aware of the "Streaming Sound" and is slowly trying to adjust to / sample the trend.

Very surprised that "Psycho" is doing better at Top 40 than "Rockstar"; RS sounds more mainstream and universal. In my opinion, this showcases that CHR is now more aware of the "Streaming Sound" and is slowly trying to adjust to / sample the trend. On the contrary, I feel Psycho has a stronger pop hook and in general sounds more suited for pop listeners than rockstar. |

I saw the "Psycho" video on VH1 today, which surprised me some. Wasn't all chopped up like the "rockstar" vid was either. I guess some formats are catching up to the current popular hits.

On the rockstar vs Psycho discussion, I'm on the side that Psycho's hook is more pop friendly than rockstar. Like even if you can't understand the lyrics, the parts with "goin psycho" "Tony Romo" "no-show" still sticks with you

Psycho is more-appropriate and poppy than rockstar. The featured artist is Ty Dolla $ign who's verse is singing and rapping. Rockstar is the better song (imo) but it is much dirtier and is more of a rap song than a pop song.

Psycho is more-appropriate dirtier Lol. You sound like my mother. I happen to be on vacation with my family right now. They were really puritanical when I was a child and teen. My little brothers are about a decade younger than me (9 and 12 years old), and my mother and step-father have gotten even worse since then (moved to the suburbs and became incredibly boujee). It's a pain in the ass to try to spend time with them these days. IDK if they're going to get better or worse in the future. They also act weird towards my daughter. Their not even religious, smh. Just had to vent, because I mostly only even hear "appropriate" from my mother. |

It doesn't seem like it would be at all, because obviously they count the streams automatically. But I definitely remember people saying stuff like "Post Malone broke Spotify" and "Weeknd broke Spotify" as a joke. And now they're almost a full 24 hours late again.
I know they were already updated by midday Saturday last week.

I think both Psycho and rockstar are quite poppy, but Psycho probably more so, idk maybe because it sounds "happier" and is in a major key, while rockstar is minor (I'm not 100% sure about this though as I'm not the best at telling between major vs. minor, so someone better at music theory can correct me about this if I'm wrong). In fact, rockstar makes me feel a lot like I do when I listen to Black Beatles, for some reason I get into this dark mood when listening to these songs.
Also, I don't know if it's just me, but Psycho's seemingly sudden and last minute gains, especially in pop, gives off very strong vibes of the last-minute LWYMMD surge to #1.

Psycho's callout scores on Pop have been improving strongly every week. It's the song with the highest favorite response now. It's the exact opposite of Taylor's song.

Could "Story of Adidon" actually chart? It has 13M views in 4 days on the WSHH YouTube video. At first, I completely dismissed it because it uses the same beat as "Story of OJ", so I assumed it wouldn't be made available commercially.
But it could potentially chart on those YouTube views alone. Especially assuming that most of the views come from the US.
Only problem is that he released pretty much the worst day of the week to release. First 3 weeks count as one week. 4th-10th week counts as second week. So IDK.
