What do you mean by shortest? i guess all one week number ones are considered tied for shortest number one. If there had been a one-week #1 for the chart dated July 18, 2015, it would have taken the record by only being atop the chart for 5 days, due to the chart week adjustment for a standardized global New Music Friday. Sadly, that's a piece of chart trivia that will never exist, as that week's #1 was "See You Again," in its final week at the top.

Stay - Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs Wait until one of the soundcloud rap songs sadly take the #1 spot. Of 501 Hip-Hop songs to chart from 2016 - 2018, only "Everybody Dies In Their Nightmares" was shorter than "Stay". So if/when a "Soundcloud rapper" does go #1 (Lil Uzi Vert already had a featured spot on the rather lengthy "Bad and Boujee"), it's really unlikely that they'll break that "Stay" record. There have been about 1,254 songs to chart in the last 3 years, and only "Everybody Dies In Their Nightmares" and "PPAP" are shorter.

Actually, you forgot the adjustment that was made at the beginning of the year so that the chart is now dated the Saturday right after the top 10 of it is revealed. The first Hot 100 chart of the year was dated 1/3/2018 which was a Wednesday, while the next one was dated Saturday1/6/2018. Anyway, those were Perfect's 3rd and 4th weeks at #1. So, the chance for a 3 day #1 was missed then.

Some people have a massive spreadsheet that details every song to have every charted and dozens of stats about them (length, peak, weeks charted, artist, label, etc) PM Gary if u want it maybe he’ll share

Hopefully In My Blood can hit the top ten soon, however I hope that that won't mean No Tears Left To Cry will be pushed out :(

Wait, how do they have final streaming numbers already? Thursday's not over yet, right?

Wait, how do they have final streaming numbers already? Thursday's not over yet, right? I think it's more a prediction than official numbers. For big releases, they usually overestimate the streams, compared to Billboard's numbers (Ex.: God's Plan 74M vs. 68M, Call Out My Name 40M vs. 32M), but even then that's huge for a 40-year-old artist!

Oh ok thanks, it's been a minute since I've checked out their streaming chart. I thought I remember their results being posted on Friday mornings. No big deal. Impressive for Ye - I'm still anxious to see how things go in weeks 2 and 3. All buzz and hype or a lasting listening experience for the masses?

One thing I'm interested in is whether "Ye" can surpass "Revival" in Hot 100 points. It'll obviously have a bigger first week, but if it has "4:44" longevity (i.e. no longevity at all) then it will fail to surpass Revival.
Career wise, Kanye and Eminem have been neck and neck on inv points for a while. Eminem surpassed Kanye with "Revival". They are both around 30,000. The third and fourth biggest rappers of all time. Behind Drake and Jay.
