I feel like Teenage Dream is probably eligible for 4xPlatinum at the very least if they add the video streams. Same for Prism which had two huge Youtube hits (Roar and Dark Horse are both well above 1B if I recall correctly). Witness might eventually reach Platinum that way too.
We'll probably know once she has a new era coming and they re-certify her albums.

Both albums were last certified way back in 2015.

Very interesting list, thanks for posting. Really puts into perspective all the "Katy is just a singles artist" posts that came when Teenage Dream failed to open above 200k. She was killing it on SPS before SPS was even a thing.
And look at Luke Bryan with 3 4xPlatinum albums...

So it means that, at least for this decade so far, Drake had sold more albums than Taylor and isnt too far off from Adele.
So really her only claim to the AOTD depends on how much Touring is weighted

Hot 100 points (based on chart runs like All-Time Hot 100) Billboard 200 points (based on chart runs like All-Time Billboard 200) Social 50 Touring

"Fearless" was quite popular in this decade, and that's the case with Adele's "19" too.

Still the lead isnt as huge as I previously thought Even including "19" sales, Drake is only about 2 million behind Adele in certified units with Scorpion gaining fast

I'm not so sure if Drake has it in the bag for artist of the decade. Because he's the biggest artist right now it's easy to think that, but if you look at the Year-End Top Artist lists for the 8 completed years of the decade, while both Drake and Taylor Swift made it every year, she outranks him for 6 of the 8 years, and by quite hefty margins. Yes, I know Billboard might not use the same formula to compile the decade-end list as they did the year-ends, but I think it does provide a very good idea of who will land near the top (since the formulas and market consumption #'s have changed so much for the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 throughout the decade, they might just actually use an inverse point system, and maybe for the other components as well. They did use an inverse point system for the Hot 100 for the 2000's Decade-End chart).
Comparing Drake and Taylor Swift, here is where they ended up for each year:
Drake: 2010: 10 2011: 23 2012: 4 2013: 11 2014: 16 2015: 4 2016: 3 2017: 3
Taylor: 2010: 2 2011: 8 2012: 3 2013: 2 2014: 4 2015: 1 2016: 16 2017: 25
Surprisingly, Drake hasn't made the top 2 yet, while Taylor has done so 3 times. Of course Drake will rank highly this year, probably #1, but Taylor should also rank highly due to her high album sales and touring #'s. I'm not saying Drake has no chance, I think he has a good one actually, but it all depends on how big his margin is over Taylor this year and how they both do next year. I think Adele and possibly even Rihanna might provide a surprise disappointment as well, but probably not, as their next albums would probably have to be the biggest of their careers.

Yeah, the weighing system will be interesting. Seems unfair to do Billboard 200 points + Hot 100 points as that would count single sales and streaming twice. It's album sales + single sales + radio airplay + streaming + social + touring. As sales and streaming have both dramatically changed since 2010 and Taylor and Drake's strengths are much different, it's hard to guess how this will end. But from the very quick analysis below, Taylor seems comfortably in 1st place.
Album sales: Taylor absolutely has him beat. Her sales this decade are probably in the neighborhood of 20 million, Drake has probably 9 or so million. (Adele will be #1 here) Single sales: Taylor wins. I don't think Drake has ever been particularly strong here (relative to Taylor), and his biggest hits came during/after the massive decline in digital sales. Airplay: ?? Guessing Taylor takes this easily but not sure. Streaming: Obviously Drake is FAR above everyone else. Social: Not sure what else goes into the formula there but Taylor has 2-3x Drake's followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Touring: Taylor wins, currently in the middle of her 4th stadium tour.

I believe chart data posted it. Makes sense because: California Gurls - supposedly eligible for diamond E.T. - ^ Fireworks- Diamond All the other singles are multi-platinum too. Witness - eligible for gold Prism - I think eligible for 5x platinum

Drake Continues to Dominate the Artist 100 Chart 7/18/2018 by Xander Zellner
He spends a 28th total week on top, second only to Taylor Swift's record 36.
Drake spends his second consecutive week, and 28th frame overall, at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated July 21). He ranks as the top musical act in the U.S. as his album Scorpion also spends its second week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Completing the trifecta, Drake also conquers the Billboard Hot 100 as "In My Feelings" leaps 6-1, earning the MC his sixth No. 1, the most among rappers.
The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
A week after charting a record 27 songs on the Hot 100 (dated July 14), Drake tallies 24 songs on the latest chart, tying for the second-best weekly total; Drake is the only artist in the Hot 100's 59-year history to chart 20 or more titles in a week, a feat that he has now achieved five times. This week, in addition to "Feelings" at No. 1, he ranks in the top 10 with former leaders "Nice for What" at No. 4 and "God’s Plan" at No. 6.
On the Artist 100, only Taylor Swift has spent more time at No. 1 than Drake, logging 36 total weeks at the summit since the chart’s inception in 2014. Most Weeks at No. 1 on the Artist 100 36, Taylor Swift 28, Drake 15, The Weeknd 11, Justin Bieber 11, Ed Sheeran 10, Adele
Swift, meanwhile, jumps 11-8 on the Artist 100, reaching her highest placement since January, as her current single "Delicate" darts to a new high (23-15) on the Hot 100. Rounding out the Artist 100's top five, Post Malone holds at No. 2; BTS bumps 5-3; XXXTentacion drops 3-4; and Imagine Dragons rise 7-5.

Drake Dominates Billboard Artist 100 Again, ABBA Debuts
7/25/2018 by Xander Zellner
Drake spends his third consecutive week, and 29th frame overall, at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated July 28), ranking as the top musical act in the U.S., while his album Scorpion spends its third week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Completing the trifecta yet again, Drake also holds at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, as "In My Feelings" spends its second week on top, shattering the one-week streaming record for a song.

The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
Only Taylor Swift has spent more time at No. 1 on the Artist 100 than Drake, logging 36 total weeks at the summit since the chart's inception in 2014:
Most Weeks at No. 1 on the Artist 100 36, Taylor Swift 29, Drake 15, The Weeknd 11, Justin Bieber 11, Ed Sheeran 10, Adele
Rounding out the Artist 100's top five, Post Malone holds at No. 2; Imagine Dragons rise 5-3; Ariana Grande leaps 12-4, as her new single "God Is a Woman" launches at No. 11 on the Hot 100; and Cardi B ascends 6-5.
Meanwhile, ABBA debuts at No. 75 on the Artist 100, fueled by buzz generated by Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. The movie's soundtrack debuts at No. 20 on the Billboard 200 with 19,000 equivalent album units earned, according to Nielsen Music, while the pop group's music sales (album and digital song downloads) is up by 57 percent week-over-week.

Drake Spends 30th Week at No. 1 on Artist 100 Chart
News
By Xander Zellner | August 01, 2018 2:50 PM EDT
Plus, Demi Lovato jumps 87-16.
Drake spends his fourth consecutive week, and 30th total frame, at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated August 4), ranking as the top musical act in the U.S.
Drake's album Scorpion spends its third week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, while the set's "In My Feelings" likewise leads the Billboard Hot 100 for a third week.
The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
Only Taylor Swift has spent more total weeks at No. 1 on the Artist 100 than Drake, logging 36 total weeks at the summit since the chart's inception in 2014:
Most Weeks at No. 1 on the Artist 100 36, Taylor Swift 30, Drake 15, The Weeknd 11, Justin Bieber 11, Ed Sheeran 10, Adele
Rounding out the Artist 100’s top five, Post Malone holds at No. 2, Imagine Dragons keep at No. 3, BTS climbs 7-4, and Cardi B is steady at No. 5.
Meanwhile, Demi Lovato vaults 87-16, as her single "Sober" re-enters the Hot 100 at No. 56. Lovato's gain is also due to increased social activity after she was hospitalized after an apparent narcotics overdose on July 24.

Drake Rules the Artist 100 Chart For 31st Week, Kenny Chesney Vaults to No. 2
8/8/2018 by Xander Zellner
Drake moves closer to Taylor Swift's record for the most time atop the chart.
Drake spends his fifth consecutive week, and 31st total frame, at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Aug. 11), continuing his reign as the top musical act in the U.S.
He leads again thanks to his album Scorpion, which spends its fifth week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, while the set's "In My Feelings" tops the Billboard Hot 100 for a fourth week.
The Artist 100 measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
Only Taylor Swift has spent more time than Drake atop the Artist 100, logging 36 total weeks at the summit since the chart's inception in 2014. The Weeknd ranks third with 15 weeks at No. 1.
Meanwhile, Kenny Chesney vaults from No. 34 to No. 2 on the Artist 100, as his LP Songs for the Saints launches at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 77,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music. The set is his 16th No. 1 on Top Country Albums.
Chesney led the Artist 100 for one week last November when his last LP, Live in No Shoes Nation, opened atop the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums.
Rounding out the Artist 100's top five, Post Malone dips 2-3, Imagine Dragons fall 3-4 and Cardi B holds at No. 5.

Travis Scott Rules Billboard Artist 100 Chart For First Time
8/15/2018 by Xander Zellner
Plus, Mac Miller re-enters at No. 9.
Travis Scott vaults from No. 64 to No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated Aug. 18) to become the top musical act in the U.S. for the first time. The move is powered by the rapper's latest album Astroworld, which launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, while all 17 of its tracks appear on the Billboard Hot 100, including two that debut in the top 10.
The Artist 100, which launched in July 2014, measures artist activity across key metrics of music consumption, blending album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
Astroworld, Scott's second Billboard 200 No. 1, arrives with 537,000 equivalent album units earned in the tracking week ending Aug. 9, according to Nielsen Music, marking the second-biggest week of 2018 (behind Drake's Scorpion). All 17 songs from Astroworld chart on the Hot 100, led by "Sicko Mode," new at No. 4, and "Stargazing," which starts at No. 8.
Scott previously peaked at No. 5 on the Artist 100 in September 2016.
Drake, who ruled the chart for five consecutive weeks, the longest run at No. 1 since his own six-week streak in July-September 2016, dips to No. 2. (He has spent 31 total weeks atop the Artist 100.)
Rounding out the top five, BTS leaps 10-3, Post Malone falls 3-4 and Imagine Dragons drop 4-5.
Mac Miller re-enters the Artist 100 at No. 9, a new peak, as his fifth studio album, Swimming, debuts at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 (66,000) units. He previously reached No. 13 on the Artist 100 in October 2016.

I read somewhere on Twitter that with TEA included Teenage Dream (album) is eligible for 8x Platinum. I believe chart data posted it. Makes sense because: California Gurls - supposedly eligible for diamond E.T. - ^ Fireworks- Diamond All the other singles are multi-platinum too. Witness - eligible for gold Prism - I think eligible for 5x platinum That doesn’t make sense. You can’t credit a single’s achievements to the album anymore. When it’s a single, it has its own accomplishments. A single’s video or audio streaming shouldn’t effect the certification of the album. Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t see how you can apply the streams to a single as well as an album. It doesn’t make sense. It’s 2 separate entities. You can’t award an album certifications by its single’s achievements.
