He was a very, very bad man, and his death does not need to be glorified. The less said, the better. Nothing was proven except in the court of public opinion. And even if he did beat a pregnant woman, his punishment should have been however many years in prison and then a chance to better himself. Wishing death on anybody but a murderer themself is an immoral thing to do. Do not pretend to take the moral highground by celebrating a man’s demise. what he beated a pregnant woman,what kind of sick human being is he,is he absolutely mad. :( I hope the woman and the baby was fine after that :( Because guysss it's a baby in the stomach like tf |

He chose the rap life. He chose to do the negative crap he did in the past. Sure he was trying to better himself but that doesn’t erase what he did in the past. X obviously had issue's and a lot of controversy around him but that aside his music isn't terrible and no one deserves to die like that and that young. Interested to see where Sad ends up next week.

I only came here to tell people that Spotify has ironically added an "RIP XXXTentacion" banner to the top of their front page. At least for some users.
Last thing: XXXTentacion is not only an incredibly rare case of an artist dying in the prime of their career. He also happens to have been a one-of-a-kind avant garde Hip-Hop artist.
I can guarantee you that people will be referencing his life, death, and style in their lyrics for decades to come.

as nickilee mentioned, X died in his PRIME. he had a new album coming, and would probably continue to release new music every year. Which is why it's the biggest music death since Big Pun, both in their prime with years and years of music left. Hopefully his songs get a revival on the charts next week.

After being on Spotify for about 20 hours, The Carters debut at #142 on Spotify with "Apeshit".
An almost non-existent Spotify presence. Strange. Was something weird with the release where we should expect a bigger Spotify presence on tomorrow's chart? Or are Beyonce and Jay-Z doing *that* badly on Spotify?
XXXTentacion's current Spotify surge doesn't seem to indicate that a Prince-sized impact is on its way. But Jocelyn Flores is at #12, so it will most likely re-chart. As well as "Moonlight" at #13. We may get a bigger surge from him in tomorrow's frame.
