Welp The Light Is Coming flopped miserably, kind of expected that after the repetitive and annoying repeating chorus. But now on two the second single, God Is A Woman out in 20 days! Along with that awful music video.

TLIC was for Reebok. Yes it's on her album but definitely not a single, it was even released only a week later than their another collab Bed.

Those 83 and 88 charts combined are a pretty quintessential 80s playlist - several MAJORS and not a bad apple in the bunch.

Thanks to a question asked by @drakeisskinny on the Discord chat, I went through and found the Hot 100, Digital Songs, and Streaming Songs peaks for every song that hit #1 on Radio Songs since the initial launch of Streaming Songs in January 2013. "Streaming Era" = 2013-present (going by initial launch of Streaming Songs) Bruno Mars - Locked Out of Heaven #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble. #2 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #7 STREAMING Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Thrift Shop #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #3 STREAMING Rihanna - Stay #3 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #7 STREAMING P!nk - Just Give Me a Reason #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #5 STREAMING Justin Timberlake - Mirrors #2 HOT 100; #3 DIGITAL; #8 STREAMING Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Katy Perry - Roar #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Lorde - Royals #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Avicii - Wake Me Up! #4 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #5 STREAMING Eminem - The Monster #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING OneRepublic - Counting Stars #2 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #6 STREAMING Katy Perry - Dark Horse #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Pharrell Williams - Happy #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING John Legend - All of Me #1 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Iggy Azalea - Fancy #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong #4 HOT 100; #3 DIGITAL; #9 STREAMING MAGIC! - Rude #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Sam Smith - Stay with Me #2 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #4 STREAMING Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Taylor Swift - Shake It Off #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Tove Lo - Habits (Stay High) #3 HOT 100; #4 DIGITAL; #5 STREAMING Maroon 5 - Animals #3 HOT 100; #3 DIGITAL; #9 STREAMING Taylor Swift - Blank Space #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do #3 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #3 STREAMING The Weeknd - Earned It #3 HOT 100; #6 DIGITAL; #4 STREAMING Wiz Khalifa - See You Again #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Taylor Swift - Bad Blood #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #3 STREAMING The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #4 STREAMING The Weeknd - The Hills #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams #5 HOT 100; #3 DIGITAL; #15 STREAMING Adele - Hello #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Justin Bieber - Sorry #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Justin Bieber - Love Yourself #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Lukas Graham - 7 Years #2 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Drake - One Dance #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Justin Timberlake - Can't Stop the Feeling! #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #6 STREAMING Sia - Cheap Thrills #1 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #6 STREAMING The Chainsmokers - Closer #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Maroon 5 - Don't Wanna Know #6 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #16 STREAMING Ed Sheeran - Shape of You #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Bruno Mars - That's What I Like #1 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #3 STREAMING Luis Fonsi - Despacito #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING DJ Khaled - Wild Thoughts #2 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Charlie Puth - Attention #5 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #18 STREAMING Portugal. the Man - Feel It Still #4 HOT 100; #4 DIGITAL; #26 STREAMING Imagine Dragons - Thunder #4 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #18 STREAMING Camila Cabello - Havana #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Ed Sheeran - Perfect #1 HOT 100; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Bruno Mars - Finesse #3 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Bebe Rexha - Meant to Be #2 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #11 STREAMING Zedd - The Middle #5 HOT 100; #2 DIGITAL; #17 STREAMING The lowest peaking Hot 100 track is Maroon 5's "Don't Wanna Know" at #6. The lowest peaking Digital Songs track is The Weeknd's "Earned It" at #6. The lowest peaking Streaming Songs track is Portugal. the Man's "Feel It Still" at... #26. "Don't Wanna Know" is the only "streaming era" Radio Songs #1 to miss the top five on the Hot 100 while "Earned It" is the only "streaming era" Radio Songs #1 to miss the top five on Digital Songs. However, there have been a whopping 15 "streaming era" Radio Songs #1s to miss the top five on Streaming Songs, with SEVEN of them missing the top ten! "Feel It Still" is the only one to miss the top 20, though. The 15 tracks to have missed the top five on Streaming Songs are "I Knew You Were Trouble.," "Stay," "Mirrors," "Counting Stars," "Am I Wrong," "Animals," "Wildest Dreams," "Can't Stop the Feeling!," "Cheap Thrills," "Don't Wanna Know," "Attention," "Feel It Still," "Thunder," "Meant to Be," and "The Middle." The seven of those to miss the top ten are "Wildest Dreams," "Don't Wanna Know," "Attention," "Feel It Still," "Thunder," "Meant to Be," and "The Middle." It's pretty obvious to see that radio is more disconnected with streaming trends than digital sales trends, and it's getting increasingly more distant. However, radio has been pretty consistent with digital sales since the dawn of the "streaming era." "Delicate" is looking more and more likely to be the next #1 on Radio Songs. Currently, its peaks are #25 HOT 100; #9 DIGITAL; and if Billboard's site is correct, has never charted on Streaming Songs. It would be the lowest on all three components and the first to never even chart on Streaming Songs.

Another thing to look at might be #1 songs on the Hot 100 and their peak on pop radio during the streaming era. Especially as of late, their is a huge disconnect between the hot 100 and pop radio.

Another thing to look at might be #1 songs on the Hot 100 and their peak on pop radio during the streaming era. Especially as of late, their is a huge disconnect between the hot 100 and pop radio. It's actually not as off as you'd expect! I used Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 chart instead of Mediabase's CHR/Top 40 chart just to keep things consistent. {Hot 100 vs. Pop}Bruno Mars - Locked Out of Heaven #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Thrift Shop #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Baauer - Harlem Shake #38 POP; #x RADIO; #2 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #3 STREAMING P!nk - Just Give Me a Reason #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #5 STREAMING Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Can't Hold Us #1 POP; #2 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Katy Perry - Roar #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball #1 POP; #4 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Lorde - Royals #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Eminem - The Monster #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Pitbull - Timber #1 POP; #2 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Katy Perry - Dark Horse #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Pharrell Williams - Happy #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING John Legend - All of Me #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #2 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Iggy Azalea - Fancy #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING MAGIC! - Rude #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Taylor Swift - Shake It Off #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Taylor Swift - Blank Space #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Mark Ronson - Uptown Funk #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Wiz Khalifa - See You Again #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Taylor Swift - Bad Blood #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #3 STREAMING OMI - Cheerleader #1 POP; #2 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #4 STREAMING Justin Bieber - What Do You Mean? #1 POP; #3 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING The Weeknd - The Hills #2 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Adele - Hello #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Justin Bieber - Sorry #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Justin Bieber - Love Yourself #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING ZAYN - Pillowtalk #1 POP; #4 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Rihanna - Work #8 POP; #2 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Desiigner - Panda #21 POP; #10 RADIO; #2 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Drake - One Dance #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Justin Timberlake - Can't Stop the Feeling! #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #6 STREAMING Sia - Cheap Thrills #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #2 DIGITAL; #6 STREAMING The Chainsmokers - Closer #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Rae Sremmurd - Black Beatles #13 POP; #7 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING The Weeknd - Starboy #3 POP; #2 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING Migos - Bad and Boujee #31 POP; #13 RADIO; #2 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Ed Sheeran - Shape of You #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Kendrick Lamar - HUMBLE. #26 POP; #10 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Bruno Mars - That's What I Like #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #2 DIGITAL; #3 STREAMING DJ Khaled - I'm the One #3 POP; #5 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Luis Fonsi - Despacito #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do #1 POP; #5 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Cardi B - Bodak Yellow (Money Moves) #23 POP; #10 RADIO; #3 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Post Malone - rockstar #5 POP; #4 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Ed Sheeran - Perfect #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Camila Cabello - Havana #1 POP; #1 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Drake - God's Plan #4 POP; #3 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Drake - Nice for What #11 POP; #3 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Childish Gambino - This Is America #x POP; #35 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Post Malone - Psycho #1 POP; #2 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #2 STREAMING XXXTentacion - SAD! #x POP; #x RADIO; #5 DIGITAL; #1 STREAMING Only eight of the Hot 100 number ones since Streaming Songs launched have missed the top ten on pop ("Panda," "Black Beatles," "Bad and Boujee," "HUMBLE.," "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)," "Nice for What," "This Is America," and "SAD!"), with only two of those never hitting Mainstream Top 40 ("This Is America" and "SAD!"). "Nice for What" still has a shot at reaching the top ten on pop, though, and "This is America" has an outside chance of scraping onto the chart. "SAD!" is even getting an official push to pop now too. Though, it is getting increasingly more distant as time goes on. Working on the reverse (Pop vs. Hot 100) right now.

Radio Songs is NF's "Let You Down," which peaked at #9. Digital Songs is Alessia Cara's "Scars to Your Beautiful," which peaked at #17. Streaming Songs is Maroon 5's "Daylight," which peaked at #45. Since the Streaming Era... 3 songs have missed the top ten on the Hot 100 ("Slow Hands," "Let You Down," "Him & I"). 0 songs have missed the top ten on Radio Songs, but three have missed the top five ("Him & I," "Hands to Myself," "Let You Down"). 27 songs have missed the top ten on Streaming Songs! And fun fact, 99 songs have went to #1 on pop since the Streaming Era. The next song, likely to be either "Mine," "no tears left to cry," or "Delicate," will be #100! Their current peaks: Mine #11 HOT 100; #10 RADIO; #16 DIGITAL; #9 STREAMING no tears left to cry #3 HOT 100; #6 RADIO; #1 DIGITAL; #5 STREAMING Delicate #25 HOT 100; #5 RADIO; #9 DIGITAL; #x STREAMING If "Mine" hits number one, it will become the fourth song of the Streaming Era to peak at number one on pop but miss the top ten of the Hot 100. It will have barely outpeaked "Scars to Your Beautiful," so no record to break thereand definitely isn't a concern for streaming either. However, it would be the lowest peak on Radio Songs, barely, but still within the top ten. It's likely "Mine" can even pull up a smidgen to at least tie "Let You Down" or even outpeak it. Not much to say if "no tears left to cry" hits number one. It has gone top ten in each category already, and all top fives are likely as early as this week's chart with it gaining in Radio Songs. However, if "Delicate" reached number one on pop, it will be the lowest peaking for both the Hot 100 and streaming and also will become the first ever pop #1 to not reach the streaming chart. As per the Hot 100 record, though, "Delicate" is still increasing and is slated to even jump into the top 20 with tomorrow's reveal. In theory, as its airplay increases, it could at least outpeak "Him & I," but the streaming record looks pretty damn set at this point!

Nicki Minaj hasn't had any with Starships, Super Bass, Bang Bang, Bedrock, Turn Me On, Beauty and a Beat, Girl on Fire or Side to Side? Nope - she has 4 that hit #3 - Side to Side, Superbass, Starships, Turn Me On

Where's the Discord chat?

This is so interesting and it kind of triggered my memory of the opposite situation - weak airplay Hot 100 #1s. Other than American Idol, the biggest ones I could find was Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" which ranked #74 on the year end airplay chart (yikes! I had no idea it TANKED on radio - 2007 was a really good year for pop - The Sweet Escape, Say It Right, Fergalicious, Who Knew & U + Ur Hand were all successful on radio) so it's weird that a ubiquitous hit like "Girlfriend" did so bad on radio - even Sk8er Boi did better on radio!) Is there any logical explanation why Girlfriend did that bad on radio? Billboard Year-End Charts 2007 US Digital Songs 2 US Radio Songs 74 Also, London Bridge peaked at #11 on radio and hit #75 on the 2006 year end airplay chart.

I feel like "Girlfriend" and "London Bridge" are both extremely polarizing songs, and that might have had an impact on callouts?

Good point - but Girlfriend was #1 on pop, and it was her huge debut after the Under My Skin era. I guess radio wasn't feeling her image change but I expected it to be top 40 on the year end airplay at least, it came as quite a shock. London Bridge I can see not being radio friendly, but Girlfriend seemed perfect for pop! Less radio friendly singles like Fergalicious did even better on radio

For Billboard, it peaked at #13 on Adult Pop Songs.

Yup - it seems like radio just didn't support her image change at the time (I guess it was a drastic change from the Let Go/Under My Skin era) or were really out of tune of what the general public liked. Examples of pop songs that were stronger in radio: #73 - Lovestoned - Justin Timberlake - #17 peak #53 - Fergalicious - Fergie - #2 peak #50 - Cupid's Chokehold - Gym Class Heroes - #4 peak #45 - Who Knew - Pink - #9 peak #42 - U + Ur Hand - Pink - #9 peak #30 - Glamorous - Fergie - #1 peak #27 - Makes Me Wonder - #1 peak #23 - Hey There Dellilah - #1 peak #21 - What Goes Around -#1 peak #16 - Give It To Me - #1 peak #8 - Say It Right - #1 peak #7 - The Sweet Escape - #2 peak #4 - Big Girls Don't Cry - #1 peak

Michael Jackson is gonna earn a 30th Top 10 hit this next week, which will make him the only veteran pop act to have 2 Top 10 hits this decade. Prince technically has 2, but both songs (Purple Rain, When Doves Cry) previously peaked in 1984 so I don't count them, Paul McCartney got pretty close in 2015, FourFiveSeconds peaked at #4 and All Day peaked at #15. As for veteran women, Mariah has almost 2 as well, All I Want For Christmas peaked at #9 this year and #Beautiful hit #15 in 2013.
Here's a list of Veteran pop acts with a Top 10 hit in the 2010's (counting re-entries): Micheal Jackson - 2 (Love Never Felt So Good, Don't Matter To Me) Prince - 2 (Purple Rain, When Doves Cry) Madonna - 1 (Give Me All Your Luvin') Paul McCartney - 1 (FourFiveSeconds) Mariah Carey - 1 (All I Want For Christmas Is You) Whitney Houston - 1 (I Will Always Love You) Nile Rodgers - 1 (Get Lucky)
