I guess I'd say "Habits" because of its alternative presence as well. Even though "New Rules" still seems inescapable.

"habits" had better consumption stats on top of a great radio run, so that.

Mmm that’s really close. I actually think I may say New Rules by a bit, since it either broke the CHR longevity record or came close and it’s looking like it’ll spend a full year on the hot 100. Habits did outpeak it and do well in its own right tho.

How is Habits winning? New Rules is the most obvious answer.

How is Habits winning? New Rules is the most obvious answer. It peaked higher and did better on sales and streaming. The only point against it is that it didn’t break the longevity record on pop radio. Just cause it peaked higher does not mean that it is bigger. New Rules is way bigger all over. Everyone will remember that 5 years from now.

Probably Habits since I remember hearing that more even if New Rules sounded bigger.
Anyways, you probably should've created a poll for this to keep better track of who thinks what.

Habits did much better overall, but I think that people will remember New Rules more years from now.

In the US, I'd say it's Habits. Globally, it's easily NR.

Habits already feels forgotten. I love it, and Tove Lo can still craft a great pop tune, but her commercial career dying after two singles doesn't bode well for Habits' longevity.

I've listened to "Habits" about three times in my life and I chose it. Can't argue with facts.
