The title song from the movie of the same name (also appearing on her album I'm the One), it would be her final Top 40 hit entirely on her own - her two Top 40 hits after this were both duets - reaching #13 on the Hot 100, #29 on the Soul Singles (R&B) chart, and #7 on AC.
Not surprising that it fared better on AC, given that it IS much more of an AC song than an R&B song - nevermind that it was written by Burt Bacharach, Carole Bayer Sager, and Bruce Roberts.
Given that the movie didn't exactly have the warmest reception when it was released, I'm kind of surprised that this still fared as well as it did, even given Roberta's star power.

Great song. Beautiful voice.
Movie was earnest. Kate Jackson was miscast and no competition for Harry Hamlin.

Not my favorite by her, but it's a nice song.

Roberta's voice is basically the reason I like this song. She has SUCH a serene, soothing timbre, so pleasing to the ears. The melody is lovely too.

I heard this on SiriusXM yesterday during the Top 100 Songs of 1982. I had forgotten all about it.
