Released as the third and final single from Confident back in 2016. She promoted this a lot but it wasn't meant to be, peaking at #2 on the Bubbling Under chart and #36 on Pop.
I never cared about this at all, she can oversing a bit sometimes, but after watching Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated, I found myself liking this a lot more.

This is the Demi I don't enjoy. To be fair, I'm not sure I'd enjoy this song sung by anyone. But Demi has a knack for overdoing it, and this is a prime example. She's trying to emote so much that it just sounds forced and cringey.
Most of her upbeat 2010s singles I've loved - including Cool for the Summer, her collabs with Cheat Codes, Clean Bandit, and Jax Jones. They all have her using her voice a certain way that is highly effective and totally works for me.

I get why this bombed, but I kind of like this.

This did something for me the first time I heard it. Once the shock wore off, I was over the song. It’s the definition of too much. Love the ending though.

This is one of my favorite Demi songs. I love how dramatic this one is. She absolutely sang the hell out of it. I loved the cinematography in the video.

I think this was trying too hard to be Demi's answer to Hello.
Except she kept trying to overemote and oversing everything to an inch of its life.
Song might have worked if she used the verses to build things up and let it out in the chorus.

Of the songs where she sort tryhards and oversings (most notably probably Skyscraper), this one's my favorite. I like the videos visuals too.
