Post Malone's 'Stoney' Tops Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' for Most Weeks in Top 10 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart 8/9/2018 by Trevor Anderson Barry Brecheisen/WireImage Post Malone performs at Lollapalooza 2018 in Grant Park on Aug. 3, 2018 in Chicago.
His debut LP logs a record 77th week in the top tier. Although Post Malone's Stoney slips 8-9 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart (dated Aug. 11), it logs an unprecedented 77th week in the top 10. Question: When an artist bundles ticket sales + album, is the album free (i.e. the price of the ticket stays the same), or is the album price incorporated into the ticket sale price (ex: Pink's Beautiful Trauma)?
I'm assuming the latter, but someone told me otherwise so not sure

Furthermore, the fact getting the album is optional rather than something they HAVE to honor, like giving you a ticket you paid for, is why I believe ticket bundling is just really free bonus product. Not an add-in they want it to be viewed as so it continues counting on the charts.

I was kind of impressed with Pink's Beautiful Trauma sales, but I guess the tour bundle has a lot to do with it.

^That requires requires a follow-up question that I already asked in the Hits thread, but will paraphrase. Aren't the ticket album bundle usually optional, meaning, you can either purchase the ticket by itself or pay a bit more for the bundle?
